Beachside, tranquil, tasty eats and drinks. Fresh breeze, light surf, lots of smiles. You cant go wrong.
Monday and Friday market right outside in evening.

I can’t complain in any way about the food, there were 6 of us and everyone said that their dish was fantastic so on that front The Happy Elephant gets top scores so as a restaurant it delivers. It’s position, right in the heart of The Fisherman’s Village again delivers 100% and whilst the weather & sea were a bit wild the night we visited you could see that in better weather we could have eaten right on the beach. Top marks again.
The only negative point are the prices. Good traditional Thai dishes were all 260-320ish TBt and these were the cheapest mains, you could easily pay way more for a lot of things on the menu so it works out relatively expensive but you get what you pay for.
Interestingly I would definitely go back because the food and location are so good.

The food was surprisingly pretty good for a touristy spot! We stumbled upon this restaurant walking the village and liked the nice ambiance outdoors overlooking the waterfront. You can definitely find better food for less if that is what you are looking for though.

Elephants, elephants and elephants.
It's not a cheap place to eat. The view is lovely, the food is pretty average [very tasty but not wow]. Its a place to say you have enjoyed the elephants and the view.

Ate here during my visit to Ko Samui in mid Sept. Read about it in a Trip Advisor's review and hunted it down to try it as we wanted to visit Fisherman Village, too. Not disappointed with quality of food but price was somewhat higher than those in town at Chaweng. We ordered pineapple rice and basil leaf minced meat. Will not make a special trip there as there are better and cheaper food in town.
