We had the opportunity to visit Maximato for lunch before our flight back to Bangkok. We were very satisfied with our meal. The food was delicious and were made with quality local ingredients. All dishes were cooked by the owner himself and his wife was the sweetest host who gave us descriptive explanation of each dish. The highlight for us was the mango buttercake with yogurt cream, the cake was soft and spongy and the whole dish was just the perfect sweetness, not too overwhelming at all. We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling to or in Chiangmai. Be sure to make a booking in advance since all dishes are made fresh to order, as you might already know quality food takes time to execute!
