Stayed here for three nights in july booked on agouda. staff have no english really so any communication is dificult, pool is good and rooms decent with a shower that isnt bad, fridge and cable. Free internet downstairs for backpackers who dont spend their days on their smart phones.
Very close to two main night markets and the walls of the old city. great location really.Breakfast is poor and always cold. On our last morning their we were shocked that the
rice was warm! But its a bufet and its free with plenty of choice so what do you expect.
Wouldnt stay their for any more then two nights as their is nicer places to stay and the breakfast gets old., but its a perfect place to jump off the plane to until ya get a feel for where ya wanna stay in chiang mai. After our stay here we went to a smaller boutique hotel near the walking market which was fantastic at the same price.
Beware of asking asking reception how to get somewhere as the staff will beckon you to theit tuk tuks outside, i was told it would cost 600bht for tuk tuk to area i wanted to vist ,i declined and got one down the road for 200bht.
Overall an average budget hotel.
I didnt use the travel agency service so i cant say if it was reliable or good value.More
