The view from the 61st floor cannot go wrong and is absolutely beautiful! The food is well presented and tasty from a vegetarian point of view. There are decent options for a place where most of the people eat meat. We especially loved the salad options. It was our 3rd wedding anniversary and the staff here made us feel very special! This place is a sure go-to place for couples!

Vertigo bar has a sophisticated atmosphere with a real DJ. The Moon bar, 2 floors above is a roof top one (and which is also a restaurant) on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel building, with the outstanding 360 degrees view of Bangkok, and you are in perhaps the tallest if not 2nd to the tallest building around.

Cocktails and food are served, you can also have full course dining, but quite pricey in comparison with typical Bangkok prices, like US$7-$8 for a local beer, for instance. In no time we burned US$50 for just a Tequila, a beer and some salmon tartar sushi.

Yet, well, you pay for the Location and this was awesome, especially thanks to the Bangkok weather which allowed a midnight stand with temperature of around 85F and no wind; a bit later, the breeze started - the menus have heavy base to prevent them from flying around.

The Moon Bar at the Banyan Tree Hotel is a must for any visitor to Bangkok. Unfortunately we found the quality of the drinks to be poor and over-prized compared to other nice bars in the city. The service was confusing and not very friendly. A smile from the service staff did not appear on our visit.

I stop here for a quick drink as my friend suggested it was a must. The views from the drink are amazing. Make sure you wear trousers. However, you paid for the view with the prices of the drinks.

Well worth an evening for the view but food does not warrant the cost. My advice would be go for a drink at the moon bar but dine elsewhere. The prices for average food and drink are hugely expensive
