Stayed there for couple of nights on my way to China. Really good value for money. Great well equipped gym and great outdoor pool that also has bar, make sure you check out SPA - real good massage with no funny business.

Dear Konstantin Y,

Thank you for being our guest recently and for sharing your experience in this forum!

The team was very happy to know that you especially enjoyed our leisure facilities, and the gym, pool and spa in particular. In April we will further upgrade our gym with new gym flooring and add all new sun loungers and tables to the pool area. I hope you will get the chance to visit us once more to enjoy the same.

With best personal regard,

It's a must book. This hotel is very clean and the room is average size. The staff is patient and kind as we had a wheelchair person. We booked the executive room which has the lounge. The Lounge food was very good... I will book back this hotel again when I come back to Bangkok.

Had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in early March 2017. Would not have made my top choice but consider myself very fortunate that this is the location chosen for our conference. Simply outstanding service that rivals a true five star hotel. Have stayed in Bangkok many times over the years and this will be my first of many visits to this hotel. Room size is fine, extremely clean, comfortable bed, great staff and nice view of the city.

The buffet is not large but nice variety of several cuisines that were all well prepared and very tasty! Surprisingly good coffee that just kept on coming and a nice outdoor area for either eating your breakfast or relaxing with a coffee. Lounge is a decent size and the evening drinks and snacks are on par with other places I have stayed.

Having been to Bangkok so many times I would still have to say that the General Manager deserves credit for not only having such a well trained team but a group that obviously enjoy working together.

Location is great for getting to the sights, restaurants and shopping. The BTS sky train is either a quick 5 minute walk or the hotel also provides a tuk tuk shuttle service.

My throw away complaint about most hotels is that they have poor water pressure but this Courtyard had decent water pressure both in the morning and evening.

My wife accompanied me on the trip and she was equally pleased by the experience and makes us both want to go back again!

The Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok is centrally located, although down a side street, with easy access to the BRT Skytrain. The hotel run a free Tuk Tuk service to the Chit Lom station about 5 minutes away if you don't want to walk, then it's a 30 minute ride to the Chatuchak Markets or anywhere else on the BRT network. We booked an Executive Room and while it was not available when we arrived the friendly reception staff organised for us to wait in the Business Lounge on the 15th floor and notified us when the room was ready. The room itself was on the 12th floor and was a good size with a good sized ensuite, no bath but with a large shower which I like. The bed was large and comfortable and the TV had a good selection of programs in different languages. Being in an Executive Room entitled us to access the Business Lounge and it was more than worth the money, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and with small eats available in the afternoon and happy hour in the evening also featuring an array of eating options and good quality drinks I would strongly recommend the Executive option. We only visited the ground floor cafe (Momos?)once but the staff there were exceptional as well.
Wifi is included in the room price and is very good quality with strong signals everywhere I went in the hotel, this is something that is becoming essential in the cyber world in which we live and I would return to this hotel for the Wifi alone.
We decide on morning tour of the temples with a river cruise and the tour desk and conceirge organised it for us, it turned out to be a private tour with our own guide and transport which explained the higher price but well worth it to avoid the hassle of doing it myself. The conceirge also organised to have a taxi to take us to the BKK airport for $400 Baht which I thought was an excellent price considering it cost double that to get there from DMK airport.
Overall I would like to thank the staff of the Courtyard by the Marriott for making our stay so enjoyable and hassle free and would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bangkok.

Room tip: We were on the 12th floor overlooking, well not much, but the room was quiet, a good size and well worth the extra to upgrade to an Executive Room.
