On a recent stressful business trip to Bangkok, I booked at the Siam@Siam Hotel last minute. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in my online booking, but arriving at the hotel, the kind and respectful hotel front line staff helped me solve the problem (in conjunction with their reservations team). The stay at the hotel, after that point was 'stress free' and very comfortable. The hotel itself was close to Siam and close to transport links - these all added up to making my last minute trip a successful one - thank you to Siam@Siam.

We have stayed in S@S a few times over the last years. The hotel has a central location and very friendly staff. We had a super helpful concierge this time who organized a great long tail boat trip for us, very reasonably priced. Will come back!

Lovely modern hotel with all the necessary amenities. There were 3 adults travelling and we were able to share a large room with 3 single beds. The restaurants and bars were lovely and served delicious food and cocktails. The roof top bar is impressive although head for the Lebua or The Banyan if you want the best views. The pool area is nice and kept very clean with a great bar service.

Initially we were checked into a room on the 14th floor - a floor which allows smoking. It smelt horrendous and after some complaining the staff soon moved us. So if like us you are antismoking avoid rooms on the 14th and 22nd floor.

Room tip: Non smokers avoid rooms on the 14th and 22nd floor

Dear Anna,

Thank you very much your great review and compliments about the hotel and our rooftop bar and infinity pool.

The room in which you stayed, our Youth Class room is great and spacious for groups of 3 traveling together! However, our entire hotel is non-smoking since October 2016 so floors 14 and 22 are not smoking floors any longer. I am sorry that there might have been a lingering smell which bothered you.

We hope to see you again soon !

A hotel in the heart of Siam nearby to most shops you would like to check out (MBK, Siam Square, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, Central World, Hard Rock Cafe, etc. They have a very good room for 3 adult persons as compared with nearby and more popular hotels which does not have.

Dear rejreyes,

Thank you very much for your kind review!

We are glad that you enjoyed your room. Indeed, our Youth Class rooms features three real beds for groups of friends or families traveling together. It is definitely one of our most popular rooms!

We hope to see you back here again in the near future.

I have got the corner room with great view of the stadium, room is good size and bright.
However I didn't like the pool area as it's way too small and PACKED! you are basically having you sunbath next to each other, with ZERO privacy.
The housekeeping service is also disappointing, one day I went out at 7am and when went back to the room at 430pm, the room has still not been cleaned yet. I happened to see a housekeeping staff and asked why my room (apparently seem to be the last one) is still not cleaned yet, the staff didn't reply and single word and gave me a VERY RUDE STARE!! and that's it. Very disappointing housekeeping attitude.
We then called the front desk and the room is being cleaned.

Dear coolcoolchap,

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and noting down the negative points, these comments allow us to continuously improve our services.

In the past, we received many comments saying that there were not enough lounge chairs at the pool area, we therefore increase the amount of chairs in order to accommodate more guests. As you can imagine the real estate in a city hotel is quite limited and we are providing as much as we can to ensure our Guests are able to enjoy sunbathing at our infinity pool.

Regarding the Housekeeping issue, I would like to apologise that we were unable to have your room ready before your return to the hotel. During high occupancy periods, we have to give priority to clean the rooms of Guests who are checking out in order to have it ready for the next Guests who are checking in. During very busy days it happens that the rooms may only be cleaned in the afternoon. Sorry about this incident, and would also like to apologise on behalf of the housekeeping staff, whose English speaking abilities are usually limited and the blank stare might have been a stare of confusion due to language barrier rather than a rude stare.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope that the points you mentioned did not make your whole stay experience negative. We are looking forward to having the chance to welcome you back again to our hotel and to prove to you that your experience is not representative of our usual high standards.

Kind regards
Jonathan
