Owner description: Located inside the grounds of the Grand Palace, Thailand’s most valued temple features the magnificent Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century.

The Palace, surrounding area and presentation is breath taking. You must wear long pants, women must cover your shoulders and it is hot but worth every minute. Seeing how the Kings lived (currently the Pricncess lives onsite) is to behold. The Emerald Budda is a must see. You cannot take photos inside the temple, but they have a central window you are allowed to photograph through. When you see the shear amount gold is unbelieveable. You have to take off your shoes when you go inside the Temple, so make sure to wear socks.

just viewing the architecture and the historical pictures on the walls was amazing. And for a building to be as old as it is and well maintained to look new was amazing.

I have been there with friends the temple is very beautiful (king temple)you will visit the emural buddha there and draw painting the story is about Thai buddha you also visit draw painting about Ramayana story around the outside wall at the temple. I really enjoy it. The weather is quite warm you should bring hat, sunglasses with you. I been there around 8.30 am the weather is good and not much people around. If you like to visit the grand palace i suggest you should be there at 8.30 am.
