We booked two deluxe rooms for three nights. The rooms are spacious with coffee/tea making facilities. There is also a bar fridge for storing cold drinks which is very good considering the hot weather in Bangkok. The water shower pressures in both our rooms are low and in one of them, the water is either very hot or very cold which causes some discomfort during the shower.

The gym, garden and swimming pool are located at the 4th floor. The gym is big but without air-conditioning. Equipment are old but usable and adequate (including treadmills, multi-gym machines and free-weights). The garden (just next to the gym) has big Koi fishes and is worth a visit. You can get complimentary feed from the pool bar to feed the Koi from 10am till 12 noon. The swimming pool is great for a leisure swim, with a deepest depth of 2.8m.

There is a MacDonald’s’ Restaurant within the lobby of the hotel and is open till 10pm.

You may use the internet service at the Business Center, provided you are a fan of Indra Regent on Facebook and pay an upfront fee of 150baht to use it for 15 minutes for the first time, thereafter, subsequent usage is free. (Tip: There is an internet cafe located at the 4th floor food court in Indra Square (access via exist next to the Macdonald’s) next to the hotel where you can use 20 minutes internet for just 10 baht).

Buffet breakfast at the 5th floor consists of good varieties such as oats porridge, Asian rice porridge, fried noodles, fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, ham, bacon, bread, fruits, cold and hot drinks, etc. There is also an omelette station where you can request your choice and style of scrambled eggs or omelette.

Overall, our stay is quite pleasant due to its convenience for shopping (thousands of wholesale shops at its doorstep – bargain hard!), massage parlours, a 7-Eleven store opposite and a 5-minute walk to the Ratchaprarop Airport Link Station (Its a ½ hour ride and just 40baht to reach Suvarnabhumi Airport).

A few point to note about this hotel:
1) Stayed here again for the second time, I feel this time the overall place around the hotel, looks thrashed out, messy, hotel looks run down. They really in need of a make over for the rooms.
2) Room were just ok this time, bathroom was dirty, aircond was not cold at all, asked the hotel to fix it, but still was the same. Corridor was smelly.
3) Stay here for shopping only, located within access to a shopping mall, out on the road, a lot of people selling cheap staffs, replicas, shirts, etc.
4)Mc cafe is located within the lobby area, if you want some meals, or coffee.
5) There is a 7 eleven located opposite the hotel.
6) Victory monument is about 1.6km from the hotel if you planning on going there to get a transportation to elsewhere in Thailand.
7) Plenty of taxis in front of the hotel and tuk tuk too.
8) Central world shopping is within walking distance from this hotel too
9) The mattress and pillow is good to be thrown out.

Overall the hotel is in bad condition especially the rooms really needs refurbishments. Stay here only for shopping and connecting to elsewhere in Thailand via Victory Monument.

Thanks

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights using a Getaway voucher we bought online. I was starting to become very concerned due to so many negative reviews but it was really quite a lovely stay. The reception staff were friendly and there were no complications. The room (on level 16 - non smoking level) was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast become a bit hectic so try and get in early when possible, there is quite a good selection of cereals, pastries, hot food, asian breakfast and an egg station. I can't believe people had a problem with the breakfast selection, it was totally fine and we enjoyed a deleicious meal every morning.
The location of the hotel can be problematic if you want a better selection of restaurants for dinner or massages, however if it's shopping that's your after then this hotel is attached to a small center filled with markets and stalls and outside on the street you have stalls lined up selling various different clothes! I did think for the quality of the food at the Botanica restaurant in the hotel that it was too over-priced.
As people have mentioned before, the taxi service out side is expensive and they will ask you to use the service whenever you exit the hotel, all you need to do is give them a polite 'no thank you' and walk further down the street and select a metered taxi. We got annoyed at a tuk tuk driver that was waiting out the font of the hotel and he said he would take us to the markets but instead we ended up at a tailor then a gem store (all gold 30% off for today only - lies/scam), what a complete waste of our time, and then the tuk tuk dropped us off at the sky train. This is not the fault of the hotel, so I'm simply warning future clients who wish to stay at the hotel. When using a taxi, be forceful and insist they use the meter, you will save hundreds of baht which quickly adds up over your stay.
The swimming pool looked beautiful and the gym (though old) was functional.
The laundry service is expensive, really, don't pay 100B to have underpants washed when you can pay 50B and buy brand new ones from the markets.
Would I stay at the Indra Regent again? Yes If i was stopping over for 1-2 nights. It was well priced as we used a coupon but a lengthy stay of more than 2 nights, I'd reccomend the Siam @ Siam hotel.

Room Tip: I always select non-smoking rooms. Some people claimed they saw cockroaches or bugs but up on the 16th floor all I saw was a clean hallway and a clean room with a great view of Bangkok.

This hotels website does not match the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, just minutes from the train station to the airport. Just metres from on of the many bustling markets and downtown shops. It has a great location, but once again it is the staff that make or break a hotel. If you want to be hounded by hotel porters trying to sell you tours then stay here. It you want unfriendly and unhelpfull staff, then stay here. For a few extra bucks per night take yourself to the Banyan Tree hotel, and there you will see what service is supposed to be like. Breakfasts were decent enough, but not with little or no variety. There are many other hotels in Bangkok of which offer a far superior service to the Indra.

HOTEL INDRA is situated neat to all major shopping malls and good Indian restaurants.
The stay was very nice and the hotel staff were also very supportive. The breakfast they served was good, but they can add more Indian dishes especially vegetarian.
I stayed there with my family and we enjoyed the stay....

Room Tip: " Very nice hotel rooms"
