We only had one night in Bangkok after a pleasant beach holiday and wanted something more up market than beach food.
We were not disappointed. The setting is great - almost a "hole in the wall" - and only seats 20. Food was terrific. The five courses for a fixed price is great idea. Chose of two dishes for two of the main courses. Wine list extensive but not inexpensive, and don't expect somellier expertise from the staff. We had a bottle South African Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent, and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon to go with the Pork and Cinnamon main. The pork main (pan roasted pork filet with cinnamon sauce with soft gnocci and vegetables with pork jus) together with the cab sav was just to die for. Really really enjoyable.
Cost for two including mineral water and wines was 4000B.
Book early, give a local contact phone number, don't be late, or phone and advise if you get lost (as we were).
