Nice swimming pool the metro is 10 minute walk away along dangerous and narrow one weigh street. One of the more crappier areas of Bangkok. Present management is contemptuous of foreigners but likes their money. And the very pretty receptionist staff makes too many mistakes when computing bills. Always make mistakes when computing monthly water and electricity totals. Nightly rooms used to be 600 baht. Now around 900. Too expensive. Fast elevator

Room Tip: 6th floor better

Maybe we were unlucky this time after travelling in Thailand for 2 months and 2 previous stays in Bangkok. They advertise their hotel as quiet and peaceful. Not true for us. We wanted a place to stay for some R&R before returning home. Arrived to check in. Told only 1 person 1 device for wifi, really?. We are 2 people and paid for double room. Only place we have found this. The lady did give me 1 more free ticket for that day only.
Room large, fan and air con. Good hot shower and comfy bed. You could ignore the peeling wallpaper and general shabbiness if it were not for the dozen or so cockroaches we killed on the first night. Informed reception and got apologies and told she would speak to manager the next morning. We heard nothing back. Not good customer relations. We were awoken the next morning by banging and drilling. Boxes filled the corridor. It seems they are replacing some air con units. Retired to the pool only to find the sound of pneumatic drills. Get the picture?.
We try not to let things get to us and as I say maybe we are unlucky. Woken again this morning by workmen and I suspect will continue to do so until we leave.
Restaurant also closed from beginning of March.
However, good location. 5 min walk from Wong Wien Yai BTS. Nice places to eat nearby.
Pool good but swimming lessons held here and there can be quite a few children jumping around.
Disappointing end to our trip. Maybe should have gone back to previous hotel we knew!

We booked this for our last night in Bangkok. It seemed almost too cheap! The room was large, lovely , airy, with fan, zircon, and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Large wardrobes, great hot shower and stunning view over the city. There's a 25m pool outside that was lovely and clean, with good changing facilities and a lifeguard, who was encouraging and supportive of a child who wanted to use the waterslide! It was worth the price of the room for the pool alone. It felt like we should have paid a lot more than this for what we got. There's a reasonably cheap restaurant in the hotel too, and a supermarket just outside. It is about 500m from the nearest skytrain station, which was great for us as the next day we left for the airport, and the skytrain/airport rail connection time is excellent from here. the staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and they were happy for us to leave our nags there all the next day while we went out to explore more of the city (our flight out was at 1am the next morning so we had all day). Loved it and would totally recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Go high for peace and stunning views

Booked this hotel based on price and the pool. Delighted to find that it is about 100m from a train station and also good for river ferry links.
The pool is surprisingly large, clean and altogether good. To access the pool, you have to go through the carpark and gym which initially seems a little strange.
Turn left out of the hotel and there are good shops, stalls and a 7 to 11. Just along from the hotel is a little leather shop where the man repaired my wallet clip and really didn't want to take any money for his work, so I recommend him as well :-)
Turn right and to the big road and the train station is right there.
The rooms are ok for the money and I would have no compunction is recommending / returning to, this hotel.

Good location, right near the MRT SKytrain. Taxis don't find this place very well but can find the Wongwian station which is a 2 min walk away. Good rooms good air con, nice pool but the sun is hidden by 1pm. Lovely food! But not the cheapest but really nice :)
