The hotel is on a good location. Walkable to Khao san road. Palace is about a kilometer away. And a cruise down the river is also easily accessible. We explored most of the places by just walking from here. We had the superior twin room and the room was pretty compact. The rest room was small. The staff were great and sweet. They helped in arranging day trips, gave the map and helped us with all the routes.

We went here for 3 nights in our trip to Thailand , we found a lovely place to stay with good client attention and good services , 100% recommended if you want to stay in the middle of Bangkok without the noise of Khao San Road.

This hotel is located quite close to Democracy Square and yet is extremely quiet - we did not hear traffic or other guests. We had the family suite which, while not a suite, is quite large and comfortable. It had a refrigerator and an electric kettle and the a/c works great. Breakfast is good, though not available if you have a very early departure. The reason this hotel does not get 5 stars from me is for several reasons. First, despite the website saying check in is at 1, we were told 2 when we arrived. We stowed our bags and came back at 5 to find that our room was not ready. Second, the room wasn't as clean as it should have been, particularly the bathroom. Third, there are small things that are annoying, such as a too-short shower curtain that leaves one mopping up the water and a light immediately outside the room that shone brightly through the transom directly on the bed. Also, laundry is quite expensive there - I recommend walking to Khaosan road and using one of the laundries there instead. There's also one on the same street, but we didn't notice it until later so can't recommend it specifically.

Room Tip: Avoid a room with a bright light just outside a transom window.

This hotel is just off the Democracy monument, within 25 minutes walk - evading traffic included - to the Grand Palace, boats, Khaosan Rd, we didn't stay long enough to find out what is close by.
Breakfast is adequate, but can get tiring after a few days.
The facilities are a tad worn, yet charming, and they get by with small fixes. Our bathroom had shower water draining into the main floor, so be careful. Worth a small investment for a safety correction. Rooms were large. Would be nice to have cable though.
Staff is friendly and helpful. They can assist in booking rides, shows, tours etc. just be sure you are clear on price and timing. They allowed us a late check out and to store a piece of luggage for a week, for free.
I eould come back- maybe with a different bathroom.

Room Tip: Not all rooms are private - windows open to a courtyard. If you want privacy looking out your window, let them know.

Stayed here 7-10 July and really recommend it. Easy to walk to Grand Palace and Khao San Road but very quiet and peaceful location. Staff really helpful, good breakfast included, rooms clean and functional. Family room for 4 very spacious.
