As always - a pleasure.

The highlights -
Fantastic room - Stayed in a one bedroom suite as usual - its worth the money

Great Bathroom - One of the best - rivalled only by the JW Marriott Phuket

Lunch in the Bar - Great Value Buffet - All you can eat and great food - For less than 7 Pounds.

Staff - Really helpful, Great English and always so friendly

Great location for shopping or business - right by the BTS and close enough to walk to MBK. lots of little bars and restaurants Nearby

The Bed - Best nights sleep I had in bangkok

The lowlights - none really. I love this hotel

The hotel location is 10 out of 10. It is right in front of the BTS skytrain, and near the paragon and platinum shopping centre.

We stayed there for 2 nights at the Suite Corner Room. it was so spacious with lounge room, working desk, and a separate bedroom. The bathroom is very clean, with separate shower room, separate toilet, separate bathtub with Aigner ammenities.

The Gym, Sauna, and Swimming Pool is even more impressive. it is so luxury.

Highly reccomend and will stay again.

Stayed at the VIE hotel for 6 nights in February in a Grand Deluxe room (really a suite) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chose this Hotel for several reasons namely, Price (Best value for money for a 5 Star Hotel in Bangkok), Location (5 mins stroll to the BTS Sky Train) Facilities (Awesome Gym that was rarely ever used). Chose the Business rate with just about everything included, Full Buffet breakfast daily, Free Internet, Free laundry for 2 pieces daily, 15% off food and beverages and one way transfer. Probably something else I have missed but can’t remember.

Location - The Hotel itself is located off Rama V rd, a stone’s throw from the Ratchatewi BTS station with connections to MRT underground Train etc so city access is unlimited. (1 Stop to Siam square for those who like to shop and 3 stops to Nana and Sukhumvit for the bars and night markets...) Also walking distance to Siam Square and MBK shopping centre if you like to shop but catch the Train much quicker.

Hotel Facilities - The Hotel itself is a modern, chic boutique style Hotel with the excellent service that you come to expect from the Thai people. I prefer the Boutique Hotels over the large chains and this place was right up there with some of the best I have stayed at. Some minor chips and scratches etc on edging and furniture but it is Bangkok after all and not worth worrying about unless you are very anal. The room itself was massive with separate living area, PC desk, huge bathroom with his and hers sinks and double head shower and separate bath. (Bath had a cushioned head rest which I thought was a nice touch) Bed was a large King and firm, pillows great. Both rooms had floor to ceiling windows with excellent views over Bangkok towards Siam Paragon. Staff was fantastic and very helpful, (English not so good at times but worked it out)

Dining - The restaurant was well laid out, clean and smic with views of skyline and Pool. Food was excellent and I could not fault it at all. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had with ample options and great quality and taste. Also had the buffet dinner twice and it too was divine. Eastern and Western options, seafood, desert etc. Thumbs up for the food overall!

Recreation facilities - Very good, 'VIE Fit' was one of the better Hotel gyms I have seen and is actually a proper gym with members although I hardly saw any of them. I work out daily and was able to get in some good sessions in this gym. There were multiple benches, bench Press and ample free weights including plates, dumb bells and machines, along with a dozen or so cardio machines. Personal Trainer on hand if you need one. The Pool is probably the only negative of this place as it is very small and unless you get there early you will not get a deck chair. I used to go straight after the morning gym session and catch some rays to around 11 before the crowds came so it worked for me but I can see how others would be put off by this as it was packed in afternoons

Transport - No issues here. BTS short 3-5 min stroll to get you anywhere in Bangkok. Taxis ar eout the front of Hotel if you prefer a cab but make sure you agree on a ‘Metered’ fare first though and be patient in traffic.. ;-)

Overall an Excellent Boutique Hotel in the best area of Bangkok in my view. Will definitely return and will also recommend this to my fellow Travelers.

Room Tip: Choose Business Rate if you can there are many extra benefits
