Have just spent 2 nights at the lodge. Exceptional stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am a strange visitor to Asia who cannot eat the food! It was no problem for the kitchen to arrange something I could eat - beautifully served and with a smile.
My room was very well presented with mountain views but the breakfast on the terrace, with magnificent views of sunrise over the snow capped mountain range, could not be bettered.
The walk to the main rooms was a little bit of a problem but well worth the effort

Dear yesterday,

Thank you for your super review and praise for the kitchen and stewards serving your special food.

We are all so happy that you visited and were prepared to accept the difficulties of the terrain and road up to the lodge - and specially happy that you felt it was well worth the effort.

As we say to our guests, in the Himalaya, a flat walk is not really an option!

With all our best wishes,

Marcus, Ishwar, Jhalak, Dol Raj, Lalu and Gyan

Tiger Mountain Lodge is amazing. Though access may be slightly problematic for the less agile such as myself, any efforts are certainly worthwhile. My room (7) had breathtaking views over the mountains and (very kindly ) the weather Gods lifted the clouds enabling the magnificent scene to unfold. Though this reality was obviously outside the control of the lodge management , the friendly and efficient care that was delivered throughout the stay at the lodge. My food requirements are unusual to say the least, but an understanding staff managed to accommodate those peculiarities very efficiently. All aspect of care lived up to or exceeded expectations and Grateful thanks are due to a very efficient team.

Dear barryswain75,

Thank you so much from us all at tiger Mountain for your all-star review. Room 7 has amazing views of Manaslu Himal that are specially good at sunset as the range glows golden and then pink and all displayed right before your verandah.

One of the joys of our kitchen team under Head-Cook, Lalu, is that they are not 'precious' and see different dietary needs as a challenge and chance to show that they can produce excellent homemade items that meet the criteria.

We always strive to care for all our guests and it is lovely to hear we met and exceeded your expectations. The quiet dedication of our team is what has put us in the number 1 spot in the Daily Telegraph and in the top 25 in Conde Nast Readers Choice Awards 2017 for Asia.

We all hope you will come back and explore more of Nepal - so much to see here!

All good wishes from the entire team,

Marcus, Dol Raj, Ishwar, Jhalak, Gyan, Lalu

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge is an intimate boutique hotel that values personalised experience, above all.

It's an institution of tailored adventures and hospitality in Nepal. If only the walls at Tiger Mountain could speak, it'll be of stories within stories of individuals who have been and wrote countless books and tales about Nepal's beauty and serenity.

Hands down, the best view from a hotel in Pokhara. Wake up for sunrise and encounter a parallel universe beyond anything you've ever imagined. Truly, a must experience.

There is magic in this sanctuary of tranquility that is so healing; it brought me closer to nature, most of all, to myself.

The food is exquisite, the simplicity of everything makes moments seem like a painting. If you are looking to book, don't think twice. Spend at least 3 days here, you can thank me later.

The staff at TM are the best! It's like walking into a family. I didn't feel like a stranger, it didn't feel like a lodge at all. It was like coming home.

Very best,
Mr. Raven

Dear Mr. Raven,

Personal, tranquil, nature, family, home - thank you for encapsulating our lodge and its ethos during your stay. It was a pleasure meeting you and learning so much from you as well. Unique is an over-used word but we believe it is perhaps applicable to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge as we do things differently from the 'standard approach' of other hotels and guest houses.

All the team look forward to your return very soon, we hope,

With best wishes,

Ishwar, Gyan, Jhalak, Lalu, Dol Raj and Marcus

Strange as it may seem. But we could not wait for the last four days of our holiday !! This lodge did not disappoint, the attention to detail, to ensure that your stay has the best chance of being a memorable one is impressive. There will always be somebody who will find fault, that is life ! The views are spectacular, the food excellent, ambiance spot on. We decided to have two days trekking, our guide Saajan was informative and considerate, and tailored the routes to suit our abilities, which was much appreciated by my wife who is not always the most sure footed rambler. The packed lunches were something that Enid Blyton would of approved of !! Marcus and his team can be proud of the experience they are delivering to their guests, and we will be returning to enjoy this hospitality as soon as we can.

Thanks to all the team at Tiger mountain lodge.

Dear Connordowns2015,

Your visit - for the group - was so memorable for us all as you arrived and were all so ecstatic about the mountain view from the lodge terrace (which is rather memorable to use a bit of understatement)!

Sajan is a super guide and a key part of our team, all being there to ensure every guest has a special time at Tiger Mountain. Be it Jit Bahadur tending the organic vegetable gardens (our first home-grown avocadoes recently....), Lalu and his team cooking and making those memorable picnics. I am delighted the way he keeps tabs on all guests so the same picnic does not come back twice but there is always more choice. Be it Amar Lama and the Room Stewards or Sujan at the bar - definitely a key person!

We all loved your infectious enthusiasm and loo forward to your return to explore more of Nepal and return to Tiger Mountain.

All good wishes,

Gyan, Lalu, Dol Raj, Jhalak, Ishwar and Marcus

The care and attention to detail I do not believe can be improved at this excellent place. All the staff, and indeed the owner are at hand to make your visit a positive one. I do not eat meat and was given an array of specially made food for my pleasure. The views on clear days are spectacular and to sit with a cup of tea and watch the mountains is a very special experience.

Room Tip: I think all are good, being mobile helps

Dear Elaine C,

Thank you so much for your lovely review - we all like to ensure every guest is special and treated as an individual, be it in terms of what they do (or just relaxing) or in meal choices.

Taking time just to sit and stare in wonder at the Himalayan peaks is an excellent meditation!

I hope you will come back and explore even more of Nepal and then come to visit Tiger Mountain again.

Very best wishes from us all,

Marcus, Ishwar, Jhalak, Dol Raj Lalu and Gyan
