As I used to be there i usually found simple , neat and clean with Green garden. Probably only one hotel with garden in Thamel. just it is the best among the simple Attraction. and its in good location.

A simply fantastic and well located hotel in a quiet and peaceful area of Thamel. The hotel is up a laneway which is great as it makes it very quiet and no street peddlers are allowed due to the security at the entrance of the laneway. This makes it possible to escape from the hustle and bustle of Thamel. only 2 minutes to the Garden of Dreams a beautiful peaceful location in teh heart of Kathmandu.

Great clean rooms, fantastic helpful staff and great brekky

Room Tip: Best room was one that does not face the outside eating area it will be quieter

You get what you pay for ! Not my kind of hotel for sure, I got there on a tour and can say on their behalf that they have a great staff and good location ( not noisy ) and walking distance from Thamel shops ; but it´s very old and smelly ( I have to look like 3 different rooms to get one "able" to stay in!)

Room Tip: If you are willing to stay here, ask for a room in the NEW building , AVOID the other rooms!

We arrived in the hotel, the place is situated in Thamel area, but separate from noise and crowd, in a quite neighbourhood, with a beautiful garden where is possible to order breakfast, lunch and dinner, even in the rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable, each with bathroom. The hotel has his own power supply, so hot water and power are always available. I was surprised by the courtesy and hospitality of the staff. Nice trekking equipment all around the area. You'll get all the information needed from the people working here. Highly recommend.

We did not have hotel reservations upon arrival to Kathmandu and took a chance on this hotel via the recommendation at the Airport. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a great experience staying in Nepal -styled hotel. American tourist must understand that hotels in other countries are bit different than USA- style.

They stored our luggage while we took a side trip to Chitwan! The hotel is in a great location, the alley is paved, the area is quiet, you are near a really good Tandori and Mo-Mo- restaurant, nearby laundry service, as well as Thamel, and a short walk to Asam. The staff are friendly and WiFi works good in the lobby.
