Great views of all Katmandu from the top! You can go up by the almost 300 steps or by car, much better the second option! Really interesting stupa at the top.

This was my first site in Kathmandu and after you climb all the steps the views are beautiful. The site is nice to walk around and they have many shops too.

One of my favourite places to hang out in Kathmandu; so great for people watching, and monkey watching, and watching monkeys watching people. Some nice eateries too

We walked the steps and toured the grounds with our trek guide, and I learned a lot. It's an interesting mix of Hindi and Nepalese Buddhist structures and sculptures.

We walked up here in the mid morning. Many people are selling candles, incense, and trinkets on the way up, and you can make a donation to get blessed when you reach the top. Many vendors at the top of the temple are selling the same wares that are available in the shops in Thamel.

We saw dogs and monkeys and pigeons enjoying the food donated to them by the faithful.
