The resort is in a fantastic location, minutes to the beach and the facilities are great. Everything you need is there, food, drinks, a pool and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful to the needs of guests. They will do whatever they can to meet requests and I never felt unsafe or worried in the resort. The breakfast is included which is nice, especially if you;re on a budget and has a variety of options like fruit, eggs and pastries. The wifi works very well, which can be unusual in a place like Freetown. And the animals around, such as little rabbits, make the place unique and fun, I was very happy there. I was supposed to stay for just one month and decided to spend my entire time there because I was so pleased with the service. I stayed for four months and will go back again the next time I make my way to Freetown.

It was that time when I needed to relax, but still wanted to capture the best of the beach life in Freetown. At The family Kingdom, you are not only introduced to the comfort of living seconds away from the vast Atlantic ocean and its sandy beach, the Kingdom offers you a bit of an experience of Sierra Leone’s natur and wild life. The environment is very safe and the accomondation is of a high standard. The morning breakfast will get you stuck on your seat for a while as you keep eating from a variety of offer. When you want to talk with the staff, they will be up to your request at all times. And the door to the top management was open throughout my stay. Call them up for your next visit.

We stayed one week at this hotel and the rooms are very comfortable with a small kitchen allowing us to snack at any time our own food. Laundry service is included and the staff are very friendly.
I surely advise this hotel just in front of Lumley beach, a great place for a walk at the end of the day.

Simple and basic in terms of rooms but you feel well taken care of. Everyone is ready to go out of their way to make your stay in freetown enjoyable and easy. Management readily available to provide advice on everything, from what transportation means to use to what the best beaches to go to. We felt well taken care off. What else can one ask for when visiting a country for the first time.
