Was visiting Maputo for work and stayed in the Radisson Blu.

The rooms were really nice and bathrooms were lovely and modern. Service from the bar and room service is quite efficient.

Hotel is 30m from the beach and 50m from another great Portuguese restaurant, where you can eat some really nice food.

Will definitely go back there, even if its just for work again.

Room Tip: Rooms on 3rd or 4th floor are the best, as its close to breakfast area.

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as good as the first time. The staff are great, rooms are clean and new, facilities are very nice. The breakfast range is really nice and wide and the buffet lunch was good also.

Expensive but well worth the small extra compared to the high cost of the many terrible Chinese built monstrosities in Maputo. Good quality furnishings, good staff, good food, but over priced. Internet fast and reliable

Checked in late on 23 October. There was some mix up from my travel agent side regarding the room that was booked.
Radisson were not prepared to change the booking to what I needed despite rooms being available.
Extremely unhelpful front desk service, a real take it or leave it attitude ("we have your credit card so will charge you whether you stay here or not") both from the desk clerk and the on duty manager.
I checked out the following morning and moved to the Southern Sun.
I expect better from the Radisson, especially as my company are large users of this group.

Unfortunately the hotel was full on your check in date hence we could not change the room type. The agency made the booking on that room type because there where no other types available on the system.

We were allocated in the resident block and was impressed with the rooms. We had some issues with the pool door and the gym but management went out of their way to fix this or any other hick ups we may have experience. The lady manager was very good and really ensured we are happy. Very friendly staff that greeted you with a smile very time. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good even though it was very busy. Every staff member wanted to please and assist. I will surely stay here again on my next visit! They really walk the extra mile to help their customers
