This is a restaurant with good ambiance and good food. It seems to have a large Portuguese clientele in addition to all others. Most food items are Portuguese, but there are several local Mozambican foods as well. The menu is pretty comprehensive.
We ordered cafriel chicken (a local dish) and fish fillet. Both dishes were good and prices were pretty reasonable. The bad part was waiting. This was a week night, but the place was full and we had a hard time getting the waiter's attention. So, that was not very good.
However, Cristal seems to be a favorite hangout for dinner in Maputo.
