It’s costing only 25$ per night for single person.Well maintained rooms and service also good. All pubs are walkable from the hotel.
They provide security to go out in the night.
Indian restaurant jus 400 m away.

We really enjoyed staying here, the location is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful! We ate in the restaurant twice and that was really good too. If I needed to stay in the center of Tana again, I would definitely stay here. We had hot water the breakfast is also very good - they have a lot to choose from. I recommend staying here!

I stayed here before and after my tour of Madagascar. The hotel was well located. Convenient to walk to the tourist information office or local shops and restaurants.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - everyone from desk staff to cleaning staff to security.

Rooms were comfortable. Everything we needed. It was reasonably quiet.

The staff were helpful to arrange anything you might need or to make a phone call for you. I’d recommend it.

Stayed here 1 night and rooms was spacious, but very outdated and dark. Nothing said welcome, relax or comfort. Internet speed ok. Bathroom large. Again, there are no good or safe areas in Tana, but this hotel is at least close to money exchange and a few other nice hotels where you can enjoy coffee, pastries or a nice lunch/dinner.
Be prepared to be hustled and followed by people on the street. You will be constantly asked for money and solicited. Please be prepared as there is no such thing as you step out of the hotel and just walk around taking photos and enjoying the city. General rule is to look for a hotel that is centrally located. This is one of them.

Stayed 4 nights on three occasions from 2 Sept in the course of a 22 day G-Adventures tour around Madagascar. This is a charming "old world" style hotel, clean, comfortable and generally quiet, with most conveniences you'd want (for the price) including WIFI. If the lift isn't working, stairs to the upper levels are a bit of a "killer", but the porters are obliging and the tip cost is insignificant(under $1) and the monetary support always appreciated. Good quality basic breakfasts, wholesome food. Found the attached Terrace Restaurant to have a very good menu choice, food was lovely and the imported wine selection to excellent quality. Staff overall also very helpful with good English, French and Malagasy spoken. Close proximity to ATM's and Banks and a few Embassies. Notwithstanding, be aware of pickpockets during the day, and more so at night time when it's just smart to move about in a small group or access ATM's accompanied by the Hotels security staff. Streets around Tana are a bit of a hilly maze at times, and a private guide to the more distant and interesting points is a worthwhile consideration. Always felt comfortable here, would stay again.
