We booked one night here and got a great deal via Jumia travel. The hotel room was a nice size and very clean. There is an outdoor coffee/dining area. The staff were excellent and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was also good. They also provide free airport shuttle service. All in all we liked this place.

A solid business hotel close to the airport. Staff were friendly and polite.
Food is ok.
Parking is very limited and tight car park.
The coffee garden outside is a wonderful addition and is a great little chill out area. The bar area is good.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a loose sink and leaking shower which management attended to immediately.

If you are in a stopover or travelling with work then this is an economical and solid option. Probably not one for a family holiday.

Staff were helpful throughout.

Free airport transfer is very good.

Excellent hotel: well located and value for money (great breakfast) but the best thing is the friendliest most helpful staff imaginable. Highly recommended.
Great advice too from the staff about what to do / where to visit. If you want a guided tour of Addis Ababa then they can arrange a great one at half the price others asked!

Stayed here for 3 nights with mum to do a whistle stop tour of Addis Ababa.

The hotel offer a free shuttle service to/from the airport which is great.

Upon arrival they said our room wasn’t ready (which was a little odd given it was almost 5pm) but they offered us a refreshment while we waited. The checkin staff were very nice indeed.

The room was nice and the hotel well appointed. One of the desk girls showed us around and took us to see their spa that they have on the 1st floor.

The beds were comfortable and there is a balcony and plenty of space.

The main issues were with the bathroom.

Upon turning on the shower, the floor flooded - this includes using the vanity sink (possibly just our room but I doubt it) so we were always asking for extra towels to soak up the floor water.

The shower was powerful and hot in the morning but if you wanted a shower in the evening the water was tepid at best so pretty unappealing.

The TVs don’t work. At all. Great modern flatscreens that are there as a dummy feature and apparently were being fixed (as was most things when you enquired why they weren’t working).

The WiFi is psycho and works intermittently. Social medial is banned in Ethiopia but a real easy workaround is downloading an app called Psiphon, then boom you have everything you need.

Breakfast was nice, basic but nice. But staff, as lovely as they are and so helpful when you ask them for something, don’t think of the little things like maybe having bowls and spoons available to use if you want the cereal on offer or glasses ready for the juice etc.... they just don’t ‘look’ for what needs doing and wait to be asked.

However, aside from all the flaws, the one thing that makes this hotel great is the staff that work there. They are just lovely and every person will help you as much as you need. They have wonderful manners and are so courteous. Even on the day we were leaving at 6am the manager insisted he take mum up to the breakfast room for her to pack a takeaway breakfast for us.

And for what it’s worth - I would definitely stay here again no question and we will be back here! We really did enjoy our stay.

Kudos to front desk for first-rate service. Overall a very nicely maintained hotel. Would return and would recommend. Room was clean and stocked. No issues with hot water. Minor dings are TV remote useless. Chinese food section in restaurant menu not available. Avoid sixth floor. There was a constant humming noise in room which we were told came from elevator, which was reason for docking one star.
