Huge lobby, infrastructure, tennis, pool, spa, gym ... its infrastructure is overwhelming.
Food is good especially menu from terrace restaurant. Restaurants inside need better menu as a hilton restaurant. Garden is very nice. To minius all of this is old looking as at 80"s time. Rooms are very clean but need refresh. Service no doubt the best.

I liked the Hilton before but now it's just all downhill and I won't stay again. As for the good, this hotel has something not many others have - interesting character. You get a sense that this is where things happen, and there's history here. A fellow American commented in the elevator that the hotel hasn't changed at all since his last visit 20 years ago.

There is a large area in the back including the pool which is excellent with natural warm water - however, it is often packed with kids running all around the place and most of them aren't hotel guests, but visiting families on a day pass. Throwing tennis balls around in the pool shouldn't be allowed.

Then there's the food - the Grilled Club Wrap, once my favorite, was lacking in key ingredients as shown on the menu (avocado, and tomato). For dinner - the Croque Monsieur - one of the worst things I've ever tried. The menu shows it as smoked duck with cheese which would be nice, but yuck, and no duck. Only some kind of dry processed cheese and sliced tasteless turkey and the bread was dry as well. Even the table bread was stale. The restaurant had no pork dishes that night.

To add to all of the above, the airport pickup never seems to work. They don't understand flights from the Middle East go to Terminal 1. At $4.19 a minute, I shouldn't have to call them each time I arrive in Terminal 1.

My experience with Hilton Addis Ababa is one of the best, though it was a short stay but it left me with lots of memorable experiences. The staffs in all the departments were well experienced and provide excellent services to their customers. Kudos!

Me and my friends were at the Hilton Addis Ababa to have some drink, we were at the lobby bar and the bar man was so friendly and happy to make us comfortable actually he make it happen in a few minutes after our arrival! The cocktail he made is typically his own and I love it! We had a great time and have fun. Thanks Hilton Addis Ababa.

Not a luxury room, I heard the neighbor's voices. Difficulties in arranging things at the reception. Breakfast: too much, nobody needs that much of choices. I would like to give special points for the nice lady of the service at the restaurant by the pool.
