Stayed here for a week in October 2015. The house couldn't be lovelier - each room is different, carvings, mosaics, lovely tiles. Really a gem.
But I found the staff unhelpful and unfriendly. It has a rigid way of doing things and will not depart - so, we asked every day for fruit for breakfast. Not possible. There is fruit in the market, I had to go and buy for myself. But this hotel WILL NOT depart from their set way of presenting breakfast. In the same way they could not/would not help me with telephoning a taxi, searching for a gym, providing a kettle in my room.
I'm working here in Tunis and this hotel is very unsuitable. There is no desk, no chair at which it's suitable to type on a laptop. Wifi is hit and miss.
Stay a couple of nights as a tourist, you'll love it. But don't expect any flexibility to cater to your needs. Amenities are pretty much non existent. Restaurant (in my opinion) very poor.More
