This hotel's top qualities are the food, especially the breakfast buffet, and the ocean views. The grounds are also very nice, with a beautiful swimming pool. The rooms are well-appointed as well, and internet was pretty fast and reliable. The staff are courteous and aim to please. Rooms can be a bit noisy so choose carefully.

2nd time there in 2 months, lovely rooms, really comfortable. Great views, and nice pool. Seems more of a business hotel, not much happening by the pool, including service!.
Nice place overall, good staff, very helpful, and a great breakfast!

Was surprised by the number of hookers around at night, but they stay outside in gardens and dont really hassle beyond the initial "hello baby" if you show no interest

Many thanks for your positive feedback, we are also shocked by what you saw on site, we always try to make sure they stay away from the facilities as we do not tolerate this business obviously. The staff has strict guidelines about those situations and as been re-briefed accordingly following your feedback..

Many thanks.

The Sea Cliff makes business a pleasure. The staff - exceptional; the views - tremendous; the food - tasty. Markus de Smidt makes the Karambezi Cafe the place to go. The food is good, the wait staff friendly and responsive, and the view of waves lapping or crashing on the cliff a delight. From Silvery Duttu in reservations, to Nana Mwinyi in guest relations to Zawada and Alphasara in housekeeping, all were professional and responsive. The pool is very nice with either sun or shady places to relax so you don't miss the beach. The Internet is good. There is a casino on-site as well as shops and a spa. It is a little pricey, but well worth the shillings. I have stayed here many times and have been pleased every time.

This hotel really is an oasis for either business or leisure travellers. Their staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, and their guest relations manager Nana Mwinyi is exceptional. The Karambezi dining has great seafood, the views of the ocean calming and the buzz and atmosphere ideal for a great meal. I will certainly add this hotel to our preferred travellers list in our London and Dubai offices.

Stayed at Seacliff a couple of times this year. The rooms are wonderful and the beds are just amazing, huge and so comfortable. The location is fab especially if you don't want to be in the hussle and bussle of city centre. The pool is refreshing and they have some great dinning options, there is Karambezi which is on the waters front with a great mix, a bit of something for everyone and then there is Alcove which is chinese and indian food.

There is also the Seacliff village 1 minute walk away so you have some other close dinning options and a few small shops.

Nadine helped me with my bookings and she was excellent and everything was perfectly organised! Will definitely return to stay again one day.

Even when I go to Dar, which is often, if I don't stay at Seacliff I always go and eat at one of the restaurants, normally Karambezi!

Room tip: I had a deluxe room but if you can get the one grade above and get a sea view
