I called the Riad from England to check that we had a room with a bath as I know it can get cold in the evenings. I was assured that we did indeed have a room with a bath but nobody mentioned that the tank was only large enough to fill it with 3 inches of hot water and that this was the same in all the rooms with baths. They also only had hand held shower attachments and no curtain so you have to sit in the cold bath to have a shower. Why wasn't I told this when I booked? They refunded my 170 dirham from the taxi ride but still no bath.
Apart from that the Riad is lovely inside and furnished with style. Really delicious breakfast and the staff are the most charming and helpful ever.
We arrived late so arranged to have dinner that night in advance which worked really well. The food here is some of the most delicious food that you can eat in Marrakech, excellent value with fantastic service. If you want alcohol don't forget to buy it beforehand.
Do ask them to organise to collect you from the airport as it is much easier and cheaper.

We had a lovely time at this Riad. They welcome you with some typical Moroccan pastisserie and mint tea and the breakfasts (included in the price) are simply delicious! (And massive ;))
As for our room, it was clean, the bed being the best (big and so comfortable), BUT I must say it's very simple. Don't harbour big expectations in that regard. I only have a slightly negative comment here about the room: the toilet (with a shower, not tub) was separated from the rest of the room by a curtain... I even mentioned it in our customer satisfaction survey. Oh, forgot to mention our room was Algedi, maybe the rest don't have that inconvenience...
There are two very nice (and warm at midday in January) terraces where you can enjoy the views and the sun!

Finally, there's sth important you must know: it really can be irritating but in the end for us was even fun... Every night at around 2 and then 6 again muslims are called to pray from a nearby mosque and you'll have to hear the whole prayer every night. It'll wake you up but it lasts for 5 minutes so if you dont have trouble to sleep don't worry. I've even learnt a few versicles!
As a whole, my boyfriend and I were very pleased with our stay and would repeated if we came back. Oh and thanks to the wonderful staff! They make everything easier. We'll see you soon in sha Allah!

My wife and I stayed here in November for 5 days. We had a great time, made all the better by the friendly, attentive staff with Badr being a credit to the Riad.. The breakfasts were tasty and we had a wonderful dinner in the Riad one night. Room was comfortable and cleaned each day. Location was fine, a 10 minute walk to the main square. If we went back to Marrakech, we would definitely stay here. Do book a taxi transfer, it made everything so much simpler.

Best tip. Email the Riad and arrange a driver to pick you up from the airport. Cuts out the hassle and costs 170DH much cheaper than the 300Dh paid at the airport by many.
We were delighted with the warm welcome from the staff at the Riad who were really helpful without being obsequious. They gave us plenty of information and were happy to provide mint tea (free) or coffee. The rooms were simple but very clean and the heater made it a cosy place to stay. Breakfasts were generous & tasty but rather sweet, lots of cake, pancakes etc ( as well as fruit etc). If you ask them they will make you a fried or boiled egg. The fire in the sitting room and the heater in the courtyard make it a very relaxing place to stay. Take earplugs as the call to prayer is pretty noisy from the mosque, but don't last long. Cheap snacks places nearby all tasty plus more expensive( Maison Du Arabe). Good location.
We took an excursion to Ourika arranged by the Riad. The scenery was lovely and we saw plenty of craft places plus Berber houses etc. The Monday Berber market is only interesting if you haven't been outside europe much. Lots of veg, plastic stuff and live chickens, no crafts or the like. There are waterfalls at the end and places for lunch. On the whole okay but not super exciting, good if you are there for more than a few days.

Many good things have already been said about this Riad and we agree with all of them, especially the very helpful staff. Perhaps unusually we stayed for 7 nights. Initially one of us was not very well with a cold, so we spent quite a bit of time in the Riad. We really enjoyed just being there. The climate in December was like a warm spring in the UK, with plenty of sun in the middle of the day (most days) so we could enjoy the roof terraces with fantastic views over the city to the mountains. When it was cooler we could use the sitting rooms around the courtyard with a lovely fire in the evening. The position of the Riad is perfect for exploring both the old and the new city - and very close to a supermarket
We ate in the Riad for 6 nights out of 7 because the food was excellent and very good value. After eating in other places for lunch and one evening meal, we still rated the Riad the best place to eat
The Riad organised two excursions for us into the Atlas mountains, excellent value and very enjoyable
We hope to stay there again and see more of Marrkech

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor as it can be a bit quieter
