In Marrakech there are so many people and places that you can't fully trust, this isn't one of them. Sara and the riad were a welcome reassurance to genuine help and calm. When we arrived she greeted us with tea and pastries and sat down with us to give us all the top tips and guide on a map. From then on, she was extremely helpful and left us to it when needed. Found the rooms beautiful, we were in a deluxe suite upstairs and the shutters kept out all light and we slept like babies! On days when we didn't make it in time to the breakfast Sara till served us fresh Oj and coffee and on the last morning when we left at 7am (before breakfast time starts) she made us breakfast to send us on our way. And of course the entire riad is beautiful. If you want to stay in the medina, I highly reccomend. ** warning** make sure you take euros in cash to pay for your stay. We thought you could pay on card and then went to get the cash out but there's a 2000 limit each day and little ATMS around the medina actually have 2000 in them so we had a bit of stress in paying Sara before we left. Thanks Sara for all your hard work!

We stayed at Riad Tamarakech this Apr for 3N/4D. After reading multiple reviews about this Riad, we wanted to stay here and only here. N no regrets on that end for sure. Here's my detailed review for all of u travellers planning a stay here:
a) To start with, it is at a comparatively easier location than the others we later saw while in Marrakech. As you park outside the Medina, the Riad is an easy peasy 5 mins walk away. The owner/managers were kind enough to pick us up and guide us to the Riad. It is also at a perfectly walkable distance from all the major attractions.
b)The decor, ambience the set up is so so perfect. Really! When you walk through the Medina, you will doubt your decision for sure but the moment you enter the Riad, it takes your breath away. Beautiful architecture, perfectly moroccan interiors and the whole set up mesmerises you completely. We had chosen the honeymoon suite as none other were available and aren't we glad. Not too big nor too small just perfect. Carved windows with colourful glasses, beautiful lamps, lanterns...huh.. who more can I say about the decor. All great.
c)The food served for breakfast is pretty modern as compared to the other Riads we experienced. It is actually a mix of modern breads and condiments and some local traditional items. It is served on the terrace with has a nice enough view to enjoy. We also had dinner the first evening at the riad, a Chicken tagine, and it was pretty great.
However, the house cats were a bit of a botheration and so were the flies all around.
d) Finally, the most important factor, the hosts. A very gracious and helpful family runs the Riad and they do a pretty great job. The Father who is also the architect created this wonder and his children Mukhtar & Sara run it with him. The lady of the house runs the kitchen here as well. Any questions regarding the Riad/Madina/Marrakech/Morocco, they have the answers of you. They are a great team working together to make your stay a great one.
All in all I'd rate this one a 8/10.
Special thanks to Mukhtar and Sara(both sisters) for a very comfortable stay!

Room Tip: The Honeymoon Suite worked perfectly for us(family of 3)

Beautiful, clean and peaceful place. Sara helped us to get acquainted with Marrakech and it's culture. I spent there three nights with my adult daughter and we felt ourselves very welcome, when coming back from lively town. We enjoyed the breakfast - something new to taste every morning. If we ever come back to Marrakech, Riad Tamarrakech is the place to stay. Thank you Sara and your team!

We had an amazing time in Marrakech with Sara and her family. This was my husband and my first time to Morocco and Sara, our host welcomed us late in the evening with a very helpful explanation of how to get around and what to expect in the city. Really made us feel comfortable! The rooms in the Riad are absolutely beautiful, couldn't have asked for anything more. The food served at breakfast (on their amazing roof terrace, of course) and at all of the other meals is cooked by their mother -- make sure to order the lamb if you have dinner there -- were delicious and very traditional.

When we return, we will absolutely without a doubt stay at Riad Tarramakech.

Coming to the end of a five-night stay and don't want to leave. Fantastic down the line: gorgeous room and building, with lots of attention to decor detail; generous breakfasts that I never can finish; great value; and central location in the medina. But the thing that really sets this place apart is the service Sara, her brother and the staff provide, with excellent advice about navigating M, day trips, and beyond-the-call gestures like laundry (for free), tea at late hours, and leaving fresh roses in the room. The only trouble I ran into was finding it in the rabbit warren of alleys (especially at night), but got the hang of it soon enough and, judging by the other lost travelers, is part of the Marrakech experience.

Don't look any further.
