We Stayed for 7 nights in August 2016. This Riad is lovely. A tranquil oasis hidden amongst the dusty old streets in old town Medina. Highly recommend organising an airport transfer with the Riad before you arrive otherwise you may not find it. The driver carried our bags right to the door. The Riad is peaceful and very beautiful. We stayed in a suite and it was gorgeous, Air con, Fridge and safe included along with an amazing shower. We just wanted a chilled out time to relax and this placed delivered. We spent our days relaxing on the roof terrace, lounging by the dipping pool on the ground floor and our evenings out in Marrakesh.

Sara and her family who own the Riad are very helpful and attentive and offered much help. The Riad is a 15 min walk to the main square and this walk is very exciting offering a true glimpse into the culture of street markets and locals lives in Marrakesh.A Highly recommended Riad

Breakfasts at the Riad were huge and we did not need to eat again until the evening.
It may be worth stocking up on drinks and snacks for your room as these are not easy to get during the day when most places are closed and often so is the Riad kitchen.

We went on one excursion to the waterfall in the Atlas mountains, this is highly recommended and worth the 2.5hr drive as it's a whole day excursion exploring the waterfall, going for a swim and then a late lunch. (take swimming gear and good walking shoes as it's tough walking for some sections)

If you want a traditional Riad experience and unparalleled peace and relaxation then this Riad is for you. You literally cannot hear a thing from the outside world except the distant call to prayer and the trickling of water into the dipping pool.

We hope to return one day when the Riad is extended to include Hammam

Room Tip: Go for a suite as not much more expensive than the standard rooms

This is a lovely, small family run riad. Sara welcomed us and gave us a very detailed description on how to get to and from Jemaa el-Fnaa. She also provided us with her personal phone number, and insisted we call her anytime should we have any questions. My wife had her birthday during our stay, and when we arrived home that night, Sara and her team had very thoughtfully left a card and birthday cake in our room. They even put up birthday decorations. It was such a lovely surprise.

The riad is a 20 mins walk from the square, but we quite enjoyed this. Walking to and from the square gave us a feel of how Marrakech is really like. At no point did we feel unsafe, even at night.

The breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh and served on the rooftop terrace every morning. Mornings in Marakkech in december can be cold (~5 C), so bring warm clothes if you’re going during winter.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the second floor, they are lighter and quieter.

We stayed 4 nights at the Riad and it was fantastic. The staff made our experience a memorable one, great service and they also helped us plan our excursions outside of the city which was extremely helpful. The breakfast we received each morning was also fab. Sara made sure we knew our way around the city on the first day, drawing us a map and showing us all the main routes and areas around the city. Overall we want to say thank you for having us and making our stay in Marrakesh very special

We stayed at Riad Tamarracht for two stretches during our time in Morocco and LOVED it. It is a family enterprise run by the friendly, helpful Sara who will school you about how to be safe and get around while serving you sweet mint tea and cookies. They were very accommodating, the rooms were traditional, gorgeous and clean and the location was walking distance to everything you'll want to see. The complimentary rooftop garden breakfasts were exceptional -- homemade pastries and jams, yogurt, eggs, anything you like. Sara's mum is a great cook and will prepare a delicious array of traditional Moroccan and Berber dishes at your convenience. A great experience, we hope to return one day...

Room Tip: We were on the top floor. Both rooms we stayed in were quiet and beautiful.
