I have spent 4 nights with my parents and our stay was magnificent. I travel a lot for work in luxury hotels and this little gem doesn't have anything less when comes to service, cleaning, attention to details.
Food was great - perfect breakfast and very tasty dinner, as simple as authentic!
Nordin, our "butler" made our stay even nicer with his advices - he recommended a great guide for half day as well as the day excursion in the desert.
I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Our family spent 4 nights at Riad Joya. After a short walk through the high-walled souk to reach the riad, you arrive inside the quiet calm of Riad Joya's courtyard and realize why this place is deservedly highly rated. We had 2 rooms, both of which were excellent. (We preferred the room that looked into the courtyard, though it was the smaller of the 2.) Plenty of space, good beds, quiet, and loads of hot water. The onsite restaurant provides a great breakfast and dinner. (Tip: ask the waiters to teach you some words in the local dialect. They are willing and helpful tutors.) The riad manager (Nourdine) seems to always be there; he and his staff provide a level of service at or beyond what a US luxury property provides. (Tip: Nourdine's English is flawless, if that is a concern of yours.) A few notes: (1) large (sealed) bottles of mineral water magically appeared in our rooms at no cost throughout each day -- a must-have for Americans; (2) the staff arranged to have our laundry done; and (3) I saw no room service menu, but I randomly asked for a certain type of beer one afternoon and it was produced instantly. From start to finish, Riad Joya far exceeded our expectations. We hope to return.

Riad Joya is a beautiful, calm oasis in the heart of the Medina. When you enter, the peaceful inner courtyard provides an instant and welcome respite from the excitement of the souks and streets.

The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and more than hospitable. The service is truly amazing. Whether you need reservations at a restaurant, help finding a particular landmark or souk, or simply want to learn more about the culture, the entire staff is ready to assist at a moment's notice. The food is fantastic if you choose to eat on site, and the chef is excited to explain how the dishes are prepared, what spices to use, and even provided us step by step instructions on how to prepare some of the dishes once we got back home.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We even returned to our room on a chilly Christmas evening to find a cozy fire and a note wishing us a Merry Christmas.

Riad Joya is only a 2 or 3 minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna and less than 10 minutes from Bab Laksour, one of the north-west gates exiting the Medina. You can easily walk to Gueliz from the riad in about 30 minutes, or just hail a cab once you reach Bab Laksour or Jemaa el-Fna.

Thank you so much to everyone at Riad Joya for helping to make our stay in Marrakech such a wonderful experience.

My wife and I plan on returning to Marrakech and we will definitely be staying at Riad Joya again.

Room tip: As is traditional for a Riad or Dar, all rooms face the inner courtyard.

We had such an amazing stay at Riad Joya. As first timers visiting Marrakech, we weren't sure of what to do, or how to get around. The staff members were extremely helpful in making us feel comfortable, to the point where they walked us directly to our destination so we could get a sense of direction in the slightly confusing medina. Our room was perfect, extremely clean, and well designed! Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was too! Would highly recommend Riad Joya to anyone traveling to Marrakech, whether with a family, significant other, or even alone! Hope to visit again soon!

Fabulous riad centrally located with amazing service. We were a group of 7 women with lots of requests and demands, that were met with a smile by the always patient staff!! The food was equally amazing and having a 24hr butler who organised absolutely everything for us (including walking us to all locations/restaurants). Would definitely go back.

Room tip: Definitely book a spa treatment.
