We came for dinner without a reservation. It wasn’t busy at all so there wasn’t much atmosphere. Fabulous dining room and charmingly friendly staff made up for some of that. Food was well cooked and enjoyable.

The place is really beautiful and the service impeccable.
But the bill far too expensive for the food quality.

After a long day in jamea al fena and the souks and walking around under the sun and in the hectic old media ... my husband and i decided that we wanted to go somewhere a little far away from all of that . We went to the red house restaurant and what a an amazing surprise .... the place, the setting the decoration the attention to details everything was soooo beautiful and so perfect ! As i am half moroccan myself i always believe that restaurants cannot make moroccan food that is as good as home made food ... but this restaurant blew me away ... we ordered pastilla as an appetizer and couscous with meat and vegetable and chicken tajine for the main course.... the food was sooo succulent and yummy that i can say its one of the best meals that i had in morocco ! While we were eating a man was playing on his ‘Oud’ instrument and singing Andalusian moroccan songs ... at the end the bill was the surprise as we expected a high cost for all of that but it came out very reasonable .i HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!

The Red House was originally a family home but it’s now been converted into a beautiful guest house & restaurant. It’s definitely worth a visit.

For food ; We enjoyed the Mococcan couscous with seven vegetables & the tagine of lamb both dishes were delicious. For sweets we loved the rice almond rolls & the knaffa.

Overall - delightful building, excellent service & yummy food.

We ate here for my partner's birthday meal whilst in Marrakech. The setting is a wonderful place for a special meal and the food was delicious. My partner doesn't eat meat or fish and although there was nothing specifically vegetarian on the menu, the chef was happy to prepare a vegetable tagine, which my partner said was the tastiest had so far in Marrakech.

I had emailed them in advance to let them know it was a birthday dinner and they went to the trouble of bringing out a birthday cake and the staff all came to sing "Bon Anniversaire". There was a musician playing traditional music, which added to the ambience, but was not intrusive. The only downside was that it was very quiet with few other guests when we were there, - perhaps other travellers think it is going to be very expensive, but actually the meal was fairly reasonable for 2, coming to about £100 for 2 diners, including wine (Moroccan).

I would definitely go there again.
