“Perfect location for market and street food”
Reviewed 2 August 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This is a really lovely riad. We was in Marrakesh for a week and stayed here for the first three days. None of my party had been to the city before and staff there were more than happy to help and give advise about how to get round the city and the local culture. The riad is beautifully designed had a roof top area to relax with sun beds and a covered area. This was ideal for when the sun went down as we arrived in 40 degree heat in the middle of May!

The breakfast was lovingly prepared by the house cook. I would highly recommend the onion and carrot pancakes. The market is a 2 minute walk around the corner and is open until late at night. For dinner i would recommend the street food (also in the market). There are dozens of stalls that normally set up from about 6pm. We ate wherever there was a queue so the food was bound to be good! the 3 of us ate for less than £3!

The only criticism I have is that 3 of us stayed in the orange room, it was a bit cramped so it more suited to for 2 people.

“A superb week in authentic Marrakech”

We stayed at Riad Linda for a week - a week that we will long remember. We loved the experience of being in Marrakech, particularly during the festival of Eid, and we loved staying in the Riad. For most of the week we had the place to ourselves - which was nice, but for a couple of days the owner, Linda and her husband, Gordon also stayed. This was a bit of a bonus because not only are they a lovely couple but very knowledgeable about Morocco and suggested a couple of day trips which we went on.
Since we came home we have been telling all our friends and family that they must experience Marrakech and we have also recommended Riad Linda as the ideal place to stay.
I need to mention the staff because they were so important in making this a successful holiday. Rachid, the general manager, isn't there all the time but often enough to advise on where to visit, where to eat, to arrange a driver for trips to the Atlas Mountains and Ait Ben Haddou (I recommend both these trips) and generally keep you right. He speaks very good English. The concierge, Waddi is quiet (perhaps a bit shy) but very helpful and friendly. His English is limited, but communication was never a problem. The third member of staff is Fadilla who does the cooking and cleaning. When you stay at Riad Linda you must eat in one evening and have Fadilla prepare the dish with the balls of fish. It was excellent, one of the best meals I've eaten in years.
All in all, we would heartedly recommend Riad Linda and if we return to Marrakech ( which we hope to do next Oct) we will be booking in there again.

Liked best: It's location and authenticity. It was literally minutes from Jemaa El Fna (the heart of Marrakech) but very quiet and peaceful.
Liked least: the bed creaked excessively on the first night but after we spoke to Rachid, the manager, it was sorted (must've oiled the springs!)

“Friendly, homely just excellent”

A wonderful Riad with exceptional staff. Good central location in old Medina.
Nothing is too much trouble. Made to feel at home. Birds singing in the morning were so lovely, Any assistance required was given happily. Information for many activities and trips was readily at hand, Rachid the manager can easily help arrange things for you. Kept extremely clean and fresh and tidy.

“Lovely clean accommodation and friendly staff”

Had a wonderful long weekend in Riad Linda - so close to all the hustle and bustle of the main square yet perfectly peaceful and serene once in the Riad. The staff were really friendly and helpful and had a great day trip to the Atlas mountains organised by Rashid and many thanks to our driver Mohammed. Breakfasts were lovely and the roof terrace was georgous with our own soft seating area (not on the photos) where you could really lie out and relax in the shade. Loved how you went down little alleyways to get to the riad entrance and once inside your own beautiful space opened up. Great value and thank you to Linda and her staff for making it such a wonderful stay.
