The taxi driver got us close and then had to ask someone where the restaurant was: one street further on and we were there, stopped outside what was made to look, to all intents and purpose, like a seafood shack. Good job we'd reserved, as every table was booked up and the couple who followed us in were turned away.
The food was excellent across the board: from my soupe de poisson, through octopus salad, on to mains of turbot, seafood linguine and John Dory, and then the classic desserts of creme brulee and mousse de chocolat! Everything was well presented and with accompaniments that supported the main acts. The service was good too, relaxed but attentive.
I'd happily go back to Chez Mado.
