Loved riad fes so elegant and so charming.
We got the zahra suite on the first floor and it was beautiful with balcony view
The bathroom was big and comfortable with good toiletries and separate toilet.
Had a comfortable bed and nice living room area
The nespresso machine is a nice touch also
The heating machine is a bit noisy but I had a great night sleep anyways
The breakfast is perfect and the location is great, right in the medina !
Nice bar and nice views of the city also
I would defiantly come back

If you love the chaos and excitement of the Medina, but want a place to stay that is reliable, clean, and offers top quality services, this is it. Located just steps from the Blue Gate, it is easily accessible from inside and outside the Medina. It is a gorgeous place, elegant interior, pool and bar area, lobby, etc. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. And the rooftop was terrific. A nice place to take in a drink from the bar and a view of the medina and city beyond.

The staff are helpful and courteous. I was surprised that the concierge was not more familiar with some of the surrounding locations to get dinner or drinks, and more surprised that they were not overly helpful to contact places to get more info. But other than that, no complaints about our 3- night stay. We loved being able to dash out, through a private and secured entry way, and immerse right into the awesome madness of the medina.

The hotel set us up with a tour guide for a 3-hour guided tour one afternoon. This was done quickly, and on the fly (very impressive). The guide was informative, but definitely not required. The medina is much more manageable than I was led to believe. It is easy to follow the various colored directional signs posted along the alleys. And more so, following the crowds on the main stretches is a no-brainer.

The hotel was very helpful to arrange transportation to and from the airport, which was extremely helpful.

If you are ok with a bit of a splurge, I definitely recommend staying here. Top of the line!

Room tip: If you need in-room Wifi, confirm availability. There is free wifi in the hotel, but it did not work inside our room.

Recently stayed at the Riad Fes and we're glad we did. We had a suite on 2 nod floor facing the beautiful lobby. Room was very well appointed and very clean. We loved the design and well appointed furnishings. Service was excellent throughout our stay. We also ate in the hotel restaurant several times for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it
This Riad is in the luxury part of the Medina so it is very centrally located and safe. The courtyards and Libby are stunning and really given you an authentic Moracco of old feeling. We strongly suggest staying here when in Fes

This beautiful Riad is more like a hotel than an actual Riad, but it is great.

The highlights were the service (excellent in all areas), the beautiful lobby, the easy to access location and the perfect views/bar at the rooftop!

The downsides were the lack of proper maintenance of the pool deck and the lack of a decent shower in their rooms (even the rooms with modern showers had leakage problems).

I would like to thanks Ms Awa who took care of everything about our reservation and all other staff members, mainly the rooftop terrace waiter - he was beyond nice!

We stayed there for 4 nights during Christmas and because of that we spent the Christmas Eve night at the hotel. They have prepared a great dinner with nice shows. All was perfect excluding two things: (1) they didn't say we would need to share tables with other groups and we didn't appreciate that (we wouldn't care if that was told us in advance). (2) It looks like the hotel owner was there with his family, but he has not greet any of the guests and had a big table for himself, at the same time we needed to share ours.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was great. However, the rooms were very dark and withy noisy a/c and heating systems. Nothing very serious, but they could improve on that. Bathroom and toiletries were very good, but as said before there was not a proper shower and I needed to bath seated... not pleasant at all...!

I haven't been to the SPA, but it looked nice. The fitness center was useless, being dark and very small (better not to have it).

Restaurant was very good, but with no menu change during our stay... as my mother is vegetarian she had only one main dish choice during 4 nights. We liked a lot to eat and have a drink at the rooftop!!!

We noticed that all hotel staff work a lot as they were all there in the morning, during the entire day and evening. We also noticed they rotate the staff. I hope all get our compliments as we were very well impressed with their professionalism and sympathy!

Our overall experience was very good, but I would like to hear that they are improving some areas of the hotel.

Stayed in the deluxe room for one night in Dec 2015. After a long day exploring the medina, this Riad is ideally located to put your bags down, relax and unwind whilst absorbing the bustling energy right outside. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were kept clean. Breakfast left a bit to be desired but overall very happy with the stay.
