The food was great—definitely get the Irish chips! Good atmosphere. The live music was very entertaining and not too loud to have a discussion.

My first 1 star review. Server not aware there was non-alcholic beer on the menu, forgot a beer glass which after 10 minutes I got from the bar. Now the worst part, the food. I ordered corned beef and cabbage. What came was 2 rectangular pre made pieces. No flavor, the driest corned beef I have ever eaten. My tablemate ordered fish and chips. Frozen cod with hunks of batter not all the way cooked that made it soggy. An “Irish pub” with frozen paddies of corned beef. Never again.

We went here on the Sunday before labor Day and had a wonderful time Sat outside and had a couple of appetizers which were very good. Very reasonable cost wise, excellent service and ample street parking. We are from Aurora and try to support local, so we were happy to find this place. Just disappointed more people were not there, but time and day probably had a lot to do with that.

Went with friends after attending a show at the Paramount Theatre (about two blocks away). Walking in you think you are in Ireland in a large pub. It is well done. The types of beer and whiskeys available is high (at least 50 each). If you can't find it, then it doesn't exist. Our dinner experience was very good. Our entrees the Burger, Reuben, Shepherd's Pie and Corned Beef. NIck, our server was very attentive.

One of the very few good places in Downtown to eat & drink. Enjoy the music & riverside location. Depending on the server, depends on how quickly yuo can get service, but this also depends on whether there's a show at the Paramount or some event w/ families. In general though the eclectic furniture and layout make this an enjoyable place to grab a bite and beer. Always sports or good movies being shown on the various TV's. Live music is a staple and usually have some good groups in. Just be warned, you may need to book or wait on those occasions.
