My wife and I went here last night around 8:15 for dinner. The place was crowded, we did not have a reservation but we did get the last table for 2. It was kind of close to the front door and it got a little cold when people came in, left or held the door open. We had a couple of different people come and help us at first (the hostess, the owner? and a waitperson) and someone asked us what we would like but we did not have menus and then two different people asked us if we wanted the wine list. It seemed a little bit in disarray at first but then things settled down. My wife ordered some minestrone soup and a nice-looking salad (La Bella Salad, I think) and I ordered a plate of chicken parmesan and we just shared everything. Everything was very, very good. The soup was excellent and the pasta and chicken parm were great as well. I could see a gentleman in the back of the restaurant (he's on display... through glass) making homemade pasta which is good to see. Round that one with some red wine and some Italian beer and everything is good. Polite & warm greetings from the hostess and what I think was the owner and an all-around good experience. Salute.
