Zero. Waited 50 minutes for our food. What the hell. Only sandwich! Never again. Stay away! I can’t say anything good about the restaurant.
This is a great counter service pastry shop. with hot breakfast options as well. Croissants like in France. Some inside seating, plenty of outdoors, and where would you rather sit in Hawaii!? Perfect for breakfast based on our experience, and probably lunch too, looking at...the menu. A mix of locals and tourists (we are in the tourist category), definitely a place to look for if you are heading off on the road to Hana.More
Met friend here for breakfast. Excellent food. Good coffee Great atmosphere. Locals and tourists sharing space and food. Didn’t try the sweets but they looked delicious. Won’t pass on them next time.
We ate here several mornings. Loved the coffee, atmosphere and the food. Family of 5 and place is family friendly. Good selection of larger tables. We came around 8am on weekends and I wouldn’t say it was ever a long line (maybe 3 deep at...most) but they do stay busy. Food does take a little long but worth it. We enjoyed on quick mornings picking up the “day old” pastries at $2.25 each with coffee to go. Thank you for your place and making breakfast so easy for us!More
DELISH!! Everyone said lines were outrageous so we trucked it over there super early-guess we were luck as no wait and even during the hour we were there he lines never were more than 6 deep. The food was amazing. Got The Moos sandwich-and likkoli...blueberry loaf-and a sticky bun that I forgot to get a pic of. So so delicious ! Worth the drive and if we would of had a wait worth it tooMore
Went 2 times during our trip to Maui and wish we could have gone every day. Quiet side step away from the tourist options. Less crowded and we’ll worth the drive. Do yourself a favor and order one of everything and for sure get a...cinnamon roll!More
Early in the morning, I stopped at Baked on Maui for coffee and to pick up pastries for a friend's son.
Food is fantastic. It’s been 10 years since I have been here and food is still fantastic! Highly recommend. Cinnamon roll was soft, and not too sweet, perfect
Cute place with outdoor seating and delicious breakfast. It was only a few minutes from Bamboo Valley Inn where we stayed so delicious and convenient choice for us. We had breakfast here more than once during our trip. I tried their omelets and the others...had the benedict and baked oatmeal and everyone really enjoyed their meals and drinks.More
Phenomenal experience at Baked on Maui! This coffees shop/breakfast venue is tucked away in a smaller town on the island. The coffee was great & the food even better. The smoked Salmon cream cheese breakfast bagel was ridiculously good. Can’t wait to go back!
Like others, we came back multiple times because the food is so good. The pastries are a stand out - so very good from scones to cross is FS and cinnamon rolls. The breakfast items are hearty and tasty like the waffles and omelettes. We...were less excited about the biscuits and gravy because it was not white gravy. Also had a delicious farm-fresh salad with grilled chicken. Yum! This is a small restaurant with a small kitchen, so be prepared to wait 20-30 for the food to come out (got a pastry to tide us over).More
I love a small restaurant with really good breakfast food. This restaurant offers unique breakfast food. You may have to all order something different & share. Funky workshops near the resta
We spent a week in Haiku, and after a local suggested Baked on Maui, we went 5 times for breakfast. I guess that's all you need to know... But to elaborate, it was great! Delicious and interesting breakfast selections, everything from relatively simple and fresh...baked goods to heaping plates of eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. Try the Shashuka for something different. Coffee was delicious, even the cappuccino (my wife is very picky about those). Tables are outside under umbrellas, and a couple of indoor tables as well. Nice people, delicious food made with care, decor is very casual (it's part of a re-purposed pineapple cannery), and prices are reasonable by Maui standards. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!More
There are a lot of different places to eat in Maui, across a wide spectrum—from places only a tourist would go to a place locals seek out and eat at. And, depending on where you are staying on the island, you have access to different...slices of that spectrum. If you happen to be participating in a Bike Maui sunrise self-guided bike tour, you've gotten up in Lahaina at 2:00A to be in Haiku at 3:00A for the tour, and you've rocketed down Haleakala and are back to Haiku by 9:00A, starving (as we were), you're wondering (like us): "What's to eat?". Bike tour or not, venturing to Baked on Maui is worth the drive. And based on the friendly service, delicious food, and locals enjoying their breakfast or lunch on the patio while bantering about local news and happenings, this strikes me as a place locals seek out to eat at. Rightly so. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back again a second time. On both occasions, I started with and thoroughly enjoyed their fresh cinnamon bun and then followed it up with a savory and hearty Paniolo skillet.More
