Welcome to the 80’s. This hotel still keeps original old furniture. Beds have no comforter but theres a blanket in the bed room you can use. No central a/c. Wall unit. The food is very mediocre with the exception of the Steak, served in the Restaurant located on the 7th floor only in the evenings. Do not expect fancy veggies anywhere but only the basic ones. This hotel deserves one of those revamp opportunities that reality shows do.

A very nice hotel with a convenient restaurant. The room was good sized and always kept very clean.

From this hotel we were located near the northern coast for scuba diving, as well as near the highway to travel to the Ruins of Copan near Santa Rita. If you are familiar with Honduras, the highway does not have an easy access road than runs east to west. The main highway from Tegucigalpa runs north through Comayagua to San Pedro Sula. Then you can access a north coastal road to go east along the northern coast for a number of scuba diving spots. Or, you can take the road west and south to access the western border along Guatemala and see the Ruins of Copan. We did both.

we had great rooms. except they open to the eating area. it was noise at 5:30 am with dishes clanging.

wifi worked good in rooms.
they could eschange money for you at a good price.
