Probably in our top 10 hotels world wide. Not flash but details thought through. Modest rooms impeccably clean, wonderful food, helpful, welcoming staff staff, beautiful garden with lots of birds. Quiet location but still only 5 minutes from the centre. Not trying to be something isn't - just doing what it does exceptionally well. Great value and highly recommended.

Taking safety measures
On a quiet street only a few minutes walk from the center, La Casa de Cafe is a beautiful, immaculate B&B. The rooms open onto a lovely garden, in which breakfast and other meals are served and from which there is a view of the surrounding hills. The owners and staff were responsive and delightful. The breakfast included fabulous coffee, fresh fruit and freshly baked bread. All in all, a wonderful stay.
We had a very nice stay. The hosts are very lovely and they gave their best that we could enjoy our stay.
The garden is so beautiful with a lot of space, tropical plants and a nice view.
They know what they do, the food is very tasty and its a nice place to stay for a couple days.

Simple clean double bed room, fan or extra blankets if needed and lovely warm shower. The staff just keep smiling and pouring delicious cups of coffee or tea if you ask them.
Breakfast is superb: the homemade pineapple jam with the fresh butter on the fresh toast or pancakes, scrambled eggs with that something special, delicious fresh fruits - pineapple, melon, papaya, banana, watermelon when we were there, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee so good it didn’t need milk or sugar. Slept very well, breakfasts set us up for the day and Copán is delightful! Thanks Howard and your team.
My sister and I have visited Copan Ruinas annually in the last five years and have stayed at Casa de Cafe. This year we stayed in Terramaya, alternative hotel of the same owners since in Casa de Cafe there was no space. It was a very pleasant experience, spacious rooms full of local details, nice garden, breakfasts with a nice view and with healthy and delicious food, with warm attention from the staff. In this year 2020, Terramaya gave us an unforgettable experience that we thank Howard and Angela!
