It was an adventure in itself getting to this place! It took about an hour drive via windy dirt roads from Copan, but we finally made it. You cross a suspension bridge over a river that goes into a dense part of the jungle where various stone trails lead to the different hot spring pools. Temperatures are different in all of them. Some are cold, some are warm, some are hot, and some are too hot to even go in or even put a foot in! You can hike up a bit to the natural sauna where all the steam comes up off the super hot water. There is also a warm waterfall you can stand under that massages your neck which feels great. If you stay late enough in the day, the colored lights all around will come on as it gets dark outside. This was such a beautiful place! After soaking in the pools for a few hours, a delicious BBQ dinner awaited us in the common area!
