We had a lunch at the Hotel Atitlan Restaurant. We enjoyed the lunch and wandered around the garden and lake areas. The lake view from the restaurant was fantastic. The garden in front of the restaurant is also amazing. The price of the lunch is reasonable and the restaurant provides good sandwiches, burgers and salads.

We stopped by Hotel Atitlan on the way back from the Reserva. We were not staying at the hotel, but we asked the guard at the gate if we could go in for lunch, he called up to the hotel and then let us in.
We sat on the patio with a stunning view of the ground and the lake. Most of our group had sandwiches, which were quite good. We had a nacho appetizer that was surprisingly light, but tasty, and we devoured it quickly.
We thought that the cocktails were a very expensive for what we got. The meal prices were on the high end, but what you'd expect for what is essentially the nicest hotel on Lake Atitlan.

Beautiful grounds and comfortable room but the food is below average for this price of hotel. the bar is chaotic, one person serving with coach loads arriving. Very high prices for wine and very small measures.

Needs to improve food and service to qualify for the 4 star rating.

As with most guests, the al fresco lunch and stunning view ticked a lot of boxes! It was a treat to be able to visit, enjoy the food, wander round the gardens and dream of coming here to stay for full-on R&R (pool, treatments, books, respite from the real world etc). The lunch was very good, featuring fresh local fish and home-grown salads, as well as Guatemalan specialities. The cold beer was very welcome on a hot day, as was perfectly chilled water. I would love to return and practise 'doing nothing', which is not yet one of my skills!

The restaurant itself is good, but not extraordinary - although breakfast was great. The best thing about it is the view, which is simply breathtaking.
