I brought my two teenage boys to this zoo for something to do while they visit. It was wonderful they enjoyed it too. The grounds are beautiful and full of flora fauna. Peacocks and iguanas freely roam around the entire place. the animals for the most part seem to be well taken care of. ( Im not really a big fan of wild animals in tiny cages) but for what it is it was nice. You feel close to the animals. Cost is VERY reasonable. I thought it was nice that they have a food court area that is your typical "fast food" chains, and then in another area they have the Typical Guatemalan food being freshly cooked up on coals. that is where we ate, and it was delicious. cheap too.
