The main building at city central square. The other one is the cathedral. Many vendors there. You don’t miss much if you’re not able to visit.
Beautiful but currently under construction. I’ve seen it in the past but this time fue to construction we could see it just from the outside.
We saw from the central place and were warned several times to be careful with thieves that target tourists.
We snapped a few photos and quickly left.
Overwhelming to see the grandeur of this palace. But put it in historical perspective and you realize it was built in a poor country by prisoners of a brutal dictator. All during WW ll.
The building was undergoing maintenance and we were not able to view the front, however the back was visible.
One of the main tourist attractions in Guatemala City, is the starting point for the roads. It also has been the place for cultural activities.
