I have been a regular guest in this business hotel since the past 7.5 years, and it has been my favorite hotel throughout. The double rooms/suites are very large and comfortable. Each room has a desk, good internet connection, a sitting area, a small fridge and large beds. The service in the hotel is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. For my work I spend about 1-2 nights per month in Guatemala City, and over the last 7 years I have tried different business and family hotels with a similar price range in this city, but Clarion Suite is by far the best, even when most other hotels are OK as well. The quality/price range compared with other similar hotels is certainly much better in Clarion Suites. Breakfast is very good and there is a good choice as well as a Guatemalan breakfast specialty. Of course, being a regular client helps, because the different staffmembers recognize me. There are two slightly negative comments I could make. One is that the partially outside breakfast room can be a bit chilly in some periods of the year, although the hotel has a few gas heaters for those like me, who live in the hot and humid zone of Guatemala.
