A very good accommodation with an amazing view over lake Atitlan. Clean, good food and gentle staff.

My wife Emmie and I and our children Carlos and Rico stayed from 8th November 2018 till 23th November 2018 at Uxlabil Guatemala City, Uxlabil Antigua and Uxlabil Atitlan.
The staff is friendley, speak also English, nice rooms, good internet, good breakfast.I like the apartments in Guatemala City because you have a lot of space and a good equiped kitchen. Uxlabil Atitlan. Ecohotel at the lake.You can swim,take a kayak, birthwatching and visit Indian villages near the lake.Nice rooms and good restaurant.Uxlabil Antigua. Verry good hotel. A lot to see in Antigua. Breakfast is in separate coffiebar directly in front of the hotel.Breakfast is offcourse included if you stay in the hotel. I' ve been now 7 times in Guatemala and stayed in Uxlabil. If I go back I and my family will again stay in Uxlabil Guatemala City,Antigua and Atitlan.I give Uxlabil a 9.
We were looking for someplace clean, safe and close to La Aurora Airport, with car service or shuttle to the airport. Eco Hotel Uxlabil was perfect and exceeded our expectations. First, it was huge! Like bigger than our first apartment, and probably our second apartment! My husband and I shared a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a twin bed right beside it, perfect for little ones. The two teenagers each had their own bedrooms, and we all shared a bathroom, living area, kitchen and two balconies overlooking a small, wooded ravine. The hotel is inside a gated community and it was easy to order food and have it brought to our room. The front desk clerk, Jorge, could not have been more helpful. He ordered a car for us for the morning--$10--and the car arrived several minutes early. We got to the airport in plenty of time. Breakfast is included but we never tried it because we were out the door before it started! All in all, a great value for a family on a budget!
This hotel is situated in Zona 10 but a long walk from the restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was helpful and friendly. The place was clean but in need of a paint job and some upgrades. The bed was not very comfortable but it is a quiet neighbourhood which seems to be unique for Guatemala. Breakfast was very good with limited options. It is very reasonably priced so overall is good value for the money.
Peaceful location and high security. No one just can come over on the street without getting through the check point. The Hotel area is very close to a local super market where you can purchase items and do the cooking at your hotel/ apartment. They provided all the necessary kitchen tools, stove, pots and pans along with dishes.

After a majorly delayed bus and last minute change of plans, a friend who was already staying at Uxlabil Eco Suites recommended me to stay there. As I only booked on the day my room was roughly $50US for one night, which was a bit of a treat for me but well worth it not knowing Guatemala City and only being there for one night. Although I didn't get to see much with my timeframe, it was a perfect place to rest as it is located in Zone 10 in a privatized residential area that is very tranquil and safe. The staff were professional and helpful and the included breakfast is very good. My room literally was a suite, it had a full kitchen, lounge area, dining table, nice bathroom and beautiful bedroom. It was not glamorous but very beautiful and homely. Though it does not feel like you are in a major city it is a short walking distance to the renowned Oakland Mall and Fontabella for shopping and restaurants.
