The hotel staff was uniformly friendly and helpful during our stay. We came to visit the excellent Andersonville Civil War prison grounds and the National POW Museum.
The hot breakfast was fine.
Plenty of free, uncovered, parking.
Downsides that reflected the lack of attention to condition and care: The valve covers below the toilet were partly rusted, the carpeting in the stairwell by the second floor was partly paint-spotted, and the plastic shower doors (area with overlap of the doors) had significant mineral and/or soap residual. The desk drawer was broken.
Usually like Hampton Inns. Very much dislike being nickel and dimed by any hotel with a "Hilton" on the front, and the Hiltons also don't provide breakfast). Would have been inclined to rate this facility lower, but for the quality of the staff.More
