My girlfriend and I stayed at Singing Sands for 4 days in late Dec-17. It's a nice, small beachfront resort - the service was great, the cabanas are nicely done and the food was excellent. Downsides are it's quite small and the cabanas are located close to the restaurant which meant a little less sense of privacy around the meal times. But given the price, it was a very good value.

My husband and I stay for 7 nights at Singing sands. We had a wonderful stay. It was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our cabana (#2) was closest to the beach, which was literally steps away. Located at Maya beach, you are miles away from Placencia beach town but we had a rental car so the distance was not a problem for us. It would be to far of a walk and still a far bike ride. Having a rental car was the way to go because it gave us the freedom to travel all over the country of Belize. There are so many day trips to do and having this travel freedom was nice. The restaurant at singing sands was a nice convenience, but we enjoyed venturing into Placencia and eating at the local small grills and restaurants. Amazing food and cheaper prices then the Bone fish grill. Overall, our stay at Singing Sands was wonderful and we would return.

We stayed at Signing Sands for 7 nights. The resort was low key, we had great ocean views from our room and a hammock right outside and a great dock. It's a small resort, about 20 maximum, so there is personal attention during your stay. Hyon booked whatever we wanted to see (snorkel, ruins, fishing) and was helpful with recommendations when we wanted a change of scenery. The resort is a $20 taxi ride to Placencia, but within walking to a few other restaurants, bars and activities. We found, however, that we mostly enjoyed the food and company at Bonefish Grill on the property. It was wonderful getting to know Anselmo, Andi, Victoria and other guests. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
It's a wonderful place to disengage from the day-to-day and refocus. We hope to return.

Room Tip: Two cabanas have excellent ocean views. Cabana 1 is separated from the others for more privacy.

We stayed at the Sing Sands Inn for four nights. Our stay was lovely. This is a pretty secluded resort. It is about 14 miles to Placencia and NOT walkable- we learned the hard way on that one. They do offer bikes for rent which is helpful for getting around. If you are looking for a place to stay right near town this isn't the place. However if you are wanting a little piece of heaven away from the hustle and bustle this is your place!

Staff was lovely. Anselmo, Valerie and Andi were amazing, funny and very attentive. They were all able to give recommendations about transportation, food and fun activities. They genuinely seemed invested in us having the best time possible.

The dock has a secret hammock that was just amazing. Many a nap was had on that hammock hanging out over the water. It's the perfect reading spot. If I had to pick that, may have been my favorite spot on the property.

Lovely. 5/5 stars.

The room was comfortable, they provided extra fans when we asked. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was unique and outstanding. We took a day trip to snorkel. That was incredible! There's not really a beach, but the pool was nicely maintained. We enjoyed it.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the cabins and liked it.
