A hurricane popped up while we were in Belize, and the Singing Sands staff was very accommodating and helpful. They gave us a room in the concrete building to stay in, and we were safe. The rooms were great, and the area beautiful. But don't forget your bug spray! Bug spray and sunscreen are essential. We had a great stay there.

My spouse and I booked our stay using Groupon (fantastic deal including rentals and breakfast) for our honeymoon.

We got a beautiful Cabana 30 seconds from the beach, pool, and restaurant. The relaxed environment personified the Belizean "laid back" ideal. It was perfect for lazy days reading in hammocks and relaxing in the sun.

My only word of warning would be that while the beach is beautiful there are no waves to speak and the seaweed starts 4 feet in, so if you are looking for a great spot to play in the waves this may not be the beach for you.

With that beeing said the staff is incredibly accommodating and kind and very good at working with you on finding great activities.

We ate like royalty every meal, the food may have been the highlight of our stay, it was an awesome mix of Belizean, Korean Italian and much more that made each meal its own great experience.

Room Tip: The cabanas closer to the beach and further from the road should have a better ambiance.

We stayed for 4 nights in June/July. Our travel agent had booked us in the Garden Room (one of the 2 guest rooms in the main building, facing the pool), but we had thought we were booked for a cabana. They offered to switch us, and showed us a cabana (they were really cute, and nearly identical size and layout to our room). We decided to stay in the Garden Room, mostly because the room had a built-in AC, and it would be more effective (and efficient) than one of the portable units in the cabana with openings in the roof.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was GREAT.
The view of the beach from the restaurant was beautiful, as it was while hanging out in the beach chairs or hammocks. The water itself wasn't so great - there was a bunch of sea grass in the water, but I'm not much for getting in the water anyway. Though we did also spend some time in the pool, which was nice.
The only thing that was kind of weird was the bathroom - it was set up the same in our room as the cabanas. It wasn't a separate room; there were no doors inside the room. You step up to the sink area; to your left is a shower with walls on 3 sides, and to your right is the toilet with a short wall between you and the room.
Overall a beautiful place and a wonderful experience.

I loved staying here it was so good. They only have 6 cabanas which means it doesn't get to busy. The food is really nice and the rooms are clean and breezy due to being near the sea. The owner would always say hi when you walked past and even knew me by name. Would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I came here for a short vacation. It was very quiet and a great place for a romantic stay. A wonderful place to relax and get in touch with your senses - beautiful beach set-up! We rented a kayak and enjoyed the beach. The rooms by themselves are also beautiful. Food was yummy and healthy!

Room Tip: All rooms seemed equally great
