Upon arrival we had a small issue which was handled excellently by the manager.
We had a good stay. Our house, a Seaside Deluxe Queen, was near the beach. On the porch we could see part of the beach, which was nice. Beds are excellent, room and bathroom clean and well maintained.
The beach is very nice, though not great for swimming. They have diving tours and snorkelling tours. Staff is very kind and highly professional. Safety is very good.
The reef are a bit disappointing in the sense it lacks the beautiful colours we had hoped for, but still worth seeing. Lot's of fish, sharks, etc.
Food in the restaurant is partly Belizian (or Belizian influences) but in our view mostly American. Find the most local items on the menu and you'll be fine. Unless you're fond of average American food.
As for staff: some are really nice, have a chat, make a joke, others seem to be more indifferent, but all are helpful.
Apart form snorkelling and diving tours, you can rent a golf cart (strongly advised, because it's fun) or book other excursions.
All in all, we loved staying here.More
