We just returned from our first trip to Ramon's in San Pedro, Belize and it definitely will not be our last. The property and water were absolutely beautiful! The staff made you feel at home and the entire time we were there, we were treated as if we were royalty.

Pineapple's on the beach offered a variety of entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all our meals there fantastic. One of my favorites was the Steak on a Stone dinner where they brought a hot stone to our table with our choice of meat and seasonings. We prepared the food ourselves and it was fun and delicious! Both the restaurant and bar staff were phenomenal.

While we were there, I decided to become certified to dive; my husband was certified many years ago, so he just did refresher training. My dive instructor, Rolando, was very patient and easy to learn from. I had mask problems and he even borrowed his girlfriend's mask for me to finish the certification. He went over and beyond! I am already looking forward to some of the dive adventures on our next trip.

Our visit was not in the busiest of seasons and I actually prefer it that way. It was not crowded and we had opportunities to visit with other guests and the staff. The weather was very nice, but hot; however, there is a beautiful pool there to cool off in.

We met and talked with other guests while there. One of the couples we met, said that they visit Ramon's every year and have been doing so for the last 20 years. I hope we will be able to plan our next trip (of many) very soon.

Usually when we vacation, we have fun, but I'm usually ready to get back home. I was sad to be leaving Ramon's, but had to get back to the real world!

It was truly "UnBelizeable!"

We had a beachfront room. It was lovely with a little veranda out front to sit. We really enjoyed it and the proximity to the dive shop. The dive guides were great. We liked the food at the restaurant a lot too. One minor gripe - we like to have fancy cocktails while on vacation and they don't serve hard liquor. While you can bring your own bottle, it's not quite the same....... We did really enjoy the lack of TV in the room. I'm on vacation - not having a TV was perfect!

Thanks for being our guests at Ramon's Village Resort and for your wonderful review! Our authentic palm thatch cabanas really set the stage for a wonderful vacation and the beachfront units offer a fabulous view of the azure blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. As you discovered, the scuba diving in Belize if off-the-chart in terms of quick and easy access to dive sites and the amazing array of undersea life you will discover. With dining at Pineapples On The Beach, shopping at the Tiki Turtle Trading Company and fresh fruit smoothies and specialty coffee at Tropic Al's, you really never have to leave Ramon's. We hope you will come again soon to stay with us. In the meantime, remember your time spent here fondly and start planning your return trip! Ramon's Village...simply Un-Belizeable!

I'm a little behind in my reviews but here it goes-

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon in June of 2014 with a second trip to San Pedro. For this trip we decided to go with a hotel right in town, and Ramon's was our final choice. We rented a Beachfront Honeymoon Cabana, and it did not disappoint!

The rooms were impeccable, the grounds well kept and the beach was quiet. The food in Pineapples was delicious, and I would recommend to anyone to try the Stone Platter.

Locations was great, with in a few minute walk you were in the heart of downtown, and the golf carts that are available for rental makes exploring the other areas of the island a breeze!

If you aren't a fan of geckos, maybe a second story room isn't for you, as the thatched roof seems to be teaming with them during the night, or stormy weather.

I would highly recommend staying there, and would most certainly return if I ever make it back to San Pedro!

Room Tip: Beachfront rooms are hard to beat, you wake up looking out on the beautiful water from a second story room.

Thanks so much for staying with us at Ramon's Village Resort and for your wonderful review! There's no place quite like Ramon's and guests thoroughly enjoy our authentic palm thatched cabanas. The beachfront cabanas, just steps away from the Caribbean Sea, offer incredible views and relaxation on a whole new level. So glad you tried the Hot Stone Cooking at Pineapples On The Beach! It's an awesome culinary creation and cooking at your table on a hot stone is just plain fun! We hope that you will return again soon to San Pedro and Ramon's Village to renew the friendships you made as well as relax and enjoy our little piece of paradise. It is our hope that your time spent at Ramon's Village will afford you fond memories and a desire to explore the wonders of Belize once again. We will be eagerly awaiting your return visit!

Dove with Ramon's Scuba yesterday, had a great time. Brought my own personal equipment and used their tanks, reg and BCD. their equip was in great shape, boats were fast and large. 15' nurse sharks swam up for a hug, many times. Also many reef sharks came in close for a look see. Great healthy reef, incredible colors, massive schools of permit, nurse, giant grouper, reef and rays. Very healthy reef.
