We had gone to Apalachicola to try to find wildlife/bird refuges. Didn't necessarily find that, but the visitor center employee was VERY helpful as far as lunch places. We ended up at this place; not very big, but we found that most restaurants weren't very big! What they lacked in size they made up for in taste. I had the fried grouper sandwich; ended up taking most of the breading off, as it was falling off anyway and I was full so it wasn't a problem. Came with fries. Large serving. Husband had fried shrimp; good portion, reasonable prices. Presume the owner was talking to us...very friendly, made us feel like long time residents and customers. Gave us some suggestions on what to do in the area. Other places near by, prices better here. Check them out!
