I have been shopping here for years (my husband has this thing about pickles...) and when they started serving hot foods I tried some. Everything is always good. The blintzes are especially good, but the pierogies, golanbkis and potato pancakes are also very good. And the price - it can't be beat.

They have a couple of tables there now I think, but you really can't eat there - I always take it home.

The food is really much better (and cheaper) than at the Warsawa restaurant next door to it.

This deli is a gem! The polish platter is amazing! KIelbasi and sauerkraut, potatoe pancake, pierogies and stuffed cabbage. Currently (Aug 2016) only $8.99! Two people can easily share this platter, or makes a feast for one. Ladies behind the counter are friendly and helpful. Lots of Polish food for sale, everything you need--baking goods, drinks, deli products, gifts. It's fun just to poke around the shop and find new things. I do not understand a review here noting snobbishness --I am not Polish and have received excellent service from the friendly staff here. Ansonia is fortunate to have this wonderful business in our city!! Give them a try--you will love the food.

If you love kielbasa, this is the place for you! The best in the area. Slightly more expensive than what you will buy in the grocery store, but the flavor is so much better! If all you have ever had is Hillshire farms kielbasa, you really must try the varieties sold here. They also have lunch meats, pastries and prepared foods. There are candies, canned goods, sodas etc. I can't tell you everything they have, because most packages are in polish! But, when you are here, you hear mostly polish being spoken, that's a good sign! You must try this place for yourself!

Europol is the place to go for fresh deli products and Polish desserts and products. And now they have great prepared meals to eat there or take home. Doesn't get any better than this.

As long as you are Polish you will enjoy shopping here. Otherwise, be prepared for Polish customers to be served gratiously - before you. When they can no longer avoid you, you will be dealt with, rudely. They make no secret of seeing you as an "intruder".
Sad, but true.
