I recommend that you go with a big group, you order steak and *, and then you all share. That way you all get a bit of everything. Switch out the new york for the filet, and enjoy. The soup is good, the salad is good, the rice is good and the ginger and mustard sauces are good.

It is all cooked right before your eyes and you cannot get it any fresher.

If you are really hungry (because you won't be after you eat), order some gyoza to share, or shrimp tempura or veggie tempura.

Most of all, eat a bit as it comes, eat the rice while it is hot and enjoy.

We have been going to Habachi Steak House for many years. This is always a staple in our family and a place that everyone enjoys. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Try and make a reservation as there is almost always a wait to be seated. We have two children ages 7 and 11 and they love coming here too. They enjoy watching the "fire volcano" made of onion rings. The restaurant also offers a special (a free Hibachi chicken dinner) if it is your birthday week and if you have a party or 3 or more. We love coming here and we will continue to patron this restaurant as long as it remains open.

We went to celebrate a grandson's birthday last night. Have been here several times in the past and it was ok, not wonderful, not bad, ok.
Last night our waitress was very unfriendly, cool, our chef acted like he wanted to be elsewhere and the chicken was - no other way to say it awful - dry and tasteless.
Our son and his family all thought the steak was good which at $23.50 for a very thin piece of beef should be better then good.
For my money I would rather go to a "real steak house" where you get full cuts of beef.

This is a great place to go for lunch. I took my staff and they enjoyed it all. Go with people that like to share. Order a variety, steak, shrimp, chicken, prawns, etc., and then share with everyone. You get to try it all. Great soup and salad. For lunch you only get salad, but you can substitute the soup. You get plenty of food and great entertainment watching them cook.

They also have really good gyoza and vegetable tempura.

We were 10 people, a minor family reunion. They seated us exactly at the time of our reservation, in a quiet corner. For Wednesday night, almost every table was filled, impressive. The chef was very professional, executing each course very well. Entertained us with an onion volcano. He did steaks and seafood exactly as we requested. The flavorings are mild here. We had 2 sauces, a mustardy one, and a brown almost-fruity soy-based dip. Both good, but could have been somewhat stronger, given the hearty entrees. Our family ordered calamari, scallops, filet of beef, and salmon. All adults & 4 teenagers were happy with their food.
